This is so off topic, but what the hell. Yes, voices, all the time, in fact.Jenova65 said:That has actually made me ROFL! You must hear voices in your head, yes? ;-) And props for using the word flabbergasted (an under used word imo)meganmeave said:That's where I got it! I was simply flabbergasted as to why I would add a whole new word to your name. Something new to pm you about!!
My eldest son has great love of archaic words and phrases and uses as many as he can squeeze into the day, he is very fond of saying ''Wench, get my tea'', (love the word wench) which is funny cos he cooks for himself, he is a revivalist when it comes to underused wordsmeganmeave said:This is so off topic, but what the hell. My brain holds an entire lexicon of obscure phrases and terminology. It comes from too much reading and entirely too much time spent in the presence of fuddy duddies. Some of my friends speak as if they are straight out of the middle ages, I swear. One of them actually used the word "issue" instead of child the other day, and "dotage" instead of old age. I asked him if he needed me to powder his wig for him.
Unfortunately it rubs off on me a bit, kind of like how if you eat a smelly cheese for lunch you keep wondering the rest of the day where that scent is coming from...
Wench is awesome. I was a serving wench last Halloween. My brother is a ceramic artist. He made me these great old fashioned mugs that can hold a pint and then some. Whenever I use them I feel the wench in me come out. So much fun to be had as a wench.Jenova65 said:My eldest son has great love of archaic words and phrases and uses as many as he can squeeze into the day, he is very fond of saying ''Wench, get my tea'', (love the word wench) which is funny cos he cooks for himself, he is a revivalist when it comes to underused wordsmeganmeave said:This is so off topic, but what the hell. I'm thinking I should have used wench as a username now, is it too late to change my gamertag? ;-)meganmeave said:Wench is awesome. I was a serving wench last Halloween. Indeed. And they compliment each other quite well.MiracleOfSound said:It's the name of a song I wrote, 'The Miracle of Sound' about music and sex (the two best things in life) and it's also a reference to Soundwave, hence the avatar.
