[]So you can not stagger after having a troll punch you? Maybe what makes Fallout 3 easier is the traditional leveling system, which is meh because I love the TES skills system. Maybe you just dont train enough the right way and is your own character creating problem that makes it hard. I know my characters fair well, since I build them to live. Well, my main ones. SOme experimental ones do not fair as well. Backtracking, staggering makes a hand-to-hand character possible, though more so in Morrowind than Oblivion.
I like the levelling system in TES too, it requires more thought than the F3 one.

The problem with the staggerinng system comes in when you face multiple enemies. It's ok against one, but when you have 2 or more enemies they can keep staggering you repeatedly, one hitting you while you're still staggered by the other.

Even when you have an agility of 100 you still get stagger spammed by groups of high level baddies, even while blocking it can happen.

This results in 50% of the combat at higher levels waiting for endless stagger attacks to end so you can actually get a chance to fight. It's boring and frustrating.

Obviously a troll punching you in reality would stagger you but in a game, designed to have fun, it just feels tedious and annoying having the control wrestled away from you over and over, waiting for the screen to stop jerking around so you can fight back.

I want a game where you play as a bear, let's get that straight. 3rd person view, 3D, of course. How about gladiator style armor? And a glaive-hammer weapon or something. And, I don't know, something a bit like Okami, but not quite, different myths and puzzles and enemies and stuff, I guess. This would be shit-tastic. Puzzle Adventure? Something like that I guess. But the main point of it is-

You play as a fuggin' grizzly bear with a glaive-hammer. That's what I want.
What about a GTA-like sandbox game where you play as an escaped gorilla conquering the city, called GORILLA WAREFARE?

A game where you play Generation 1 Optimus Prime on an open world Cybertron, Crackdown style.
Nice idea... but consider this: Wouldn't pre-G1 make for an even more interesting setting? I've always wondered what a Transformers game would be like if you used the story setting of the 'The War Within' comics, when the civil war on Cybertron is still actively raging on.
I think I just drooled on my keyboard.
Well, the G1 characters and imagery have a nostalgia for me so I am biased... but a Transformers game set on early Cybertron would indeed be awesome.

I wish the movies had been like that, instead of being tributes to Megan Fox's skinny ass and utterly atrocious toilet humour (the humour in ROTF was insulting (even to people like me who like toilet humour and childish jokes)

Oh look.. that one has balls haha

That one humps Megan Foxes leg... hahaha

That one is black and makes 'how you gonna do dat' stlye stereotypical one liners, wow how my belly ahces

The atrocious humor was what I hated about ROTF, too... the rest was actually ok, better than the first movie at any rate.
Have you read the TWW comics? The characters and imagery are the same, just with a polished, slightly futuristic look (since all bots still have cybertronian alternate modes, not earth vehicles), and the stories also give the bots a lot more character (Grimlock comes to mind as the best example, he's not dumb as a brick like in the G1 show, but actually a skilled tactician in addition to being an awesome warrior... the speech impediment comes from a virus or factory defect, if memory serves). All in all, it's like G1 minus the annoying human element and the bad jokes.

A steampunk/futuristic (something more like FF7, not like Halo's futuristic) RPG that would use FPS to explore and fight in battles. Also, have stealth missions.

The perfect game for me would be.....

Picture this. Its a third person MMO, based in an ex-utopia. The zombies have taken away EVERYTHING from you. Each character in the game is connected in the fact that they stumbled up this place thats the one last safe bastion for humanity. Its a large city, well considering that a zombie apocalypse just happened anyway. So you get your basic tutorial in there. Once your character is made you take him into the world. This world would be immersive in the settings, the territory specific creatures, the long wait time between reaching different places. Essentially you do ANYTHING you want because all you are is a human in a zombie apocalypse scrapping by. Lets say the Dead rising rule applys, that zombies get stronger after dark. Well lets say you found a shitty old junker, found some spare parts while looking for ammunition for your gun or bandages and you get the thing movin. Well your driving along but its dark. You cant very well just sit out in the open with only 5-6 inches of metal between you and the zed-heads. So you get out of your car, load up some ammo and kick open the door of the nearest establishment. Check the place for Zacks, then grab whatever you can to barricade any entrance so you can rest there peacefully for the night. On the flip side, lets say the Dead rising rule still applys. Well to counter balance the effects, all zombies you kill at night are granting you double XP. So in an attempt to level your character before you gotta go to work, school, bed etc etc, you just hop outta your car, pick up a 9 iron out of a debris pile and go to town on the Z's for lvling purposes.

As you can tell ive put an enormous amount of thought into this, but hey thats why itd be the perfect game for me. Good question man......

Well, I had an idea for a perfect fighting game I wanted, fighting certainly isn't my favorite style of games, but I'd have cel-shaded graphics, fast-paced action on a 3D plane (like the PS3 Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series), destructible environments in large open worlds which could then be used for interior and exterior fighting. The destructible environments would use the GeoMod 2.0 damage system, or a similar engine for realistic damage when fighters are thrown heavily through walls, and there would be large buildings to collapse on someone for extra damage, and interior fighting with environmental attacks to smash them into beams, floors, whatever.

Online multiplayer would be around 4-6 players in a large environment, a free-for-all or team deathmatch style, an adventure mode in a free-roam environment, the fighters would have different superpowers as well, to make a fast paced powerful feeling game. The free-roam adventure mode would span a good 6 hours or so, kind of like if they made an action/adventure DBZ game with all of the above for the free-roam adventure mode. The environments would be expansive and destructible, you could pick a fighter with aforementioned different superpowers, like flight, teleportation, energy beams, superspeed, ecetera and there would be "ultimate finishers" in which the player utilizes the analog sticks (or wiimote and nunchuck) to increase damage by moving the analog sticks or arms in rhythm with the hand movements of the fighters.

There would be a create your own fighter with different mix of martial arts and superpowers you could make, pretty expansive too, and a "create a weapon" mode, in which you design your own weapons for your fighters which help with damage, but isn't required for a fighter, only to add distance to a superpowered fighter who might not have that advantage. Of course, many problems could be seen with this game...but that's why it's all in my head. *sigh*

A team based territorial control game that has no hard time limit but a soft limit on resources used to respawn and building cover/buildings/weapons.

Something like Battlefield 1943?

I think I may have read the War Within... was it the one where Megatron was like his G1 self but coloured green, and
Optimus sacrificed himself to the plague thingy to save them all in an extremely upsetting sequence where he got graphically eaten alive by microscopic mecha bugs

If so then that one is awesome.

Grimlock was a lot smarter in the G1 comics too, he actually took over control of the Autobots at one stage when Prime was but a code stored on Buster Witwicky's floppy disk. Lol

Well, I only read the first 12 issues / 2 volumes, they were hard to come by here in Germany, but in those stories Megatron had his usual silver/chrome paintjob. Really, all of the bots (no matter which side they were on) had their G1 paintjobs, just their designs were spruced up a bit. That bit you describe in your spoilers wasn't in the TWW comics I read, sounds more like the G1 stuff Dreamwave published parallel to TWW and Armada... it had a lot more drama than the other series, it would certainly fit a scene of Prime heroically sacrificing himself and dying in a horrible way.

Come to think of it, Megatron's paintjob in Armada was green and purple... he transforms into a tank and has some weird-looking beetle-like antlers on his helmet in robot mode... maybe you meant those?

Rather than give "a" perfect game, I shall give "a few" perfect games.

1.I would say mix Assasin's Creed's platforming with Left 4 Dead setting. The goal is not to kill zombies, but only to survive. Therefore, running away in a creative way.

2. A WW2 first-person shooter with the possibility of playing germans.

3. Mirror's Edge first person platforming with a medieval setting. The storytelling would be similar to Half-Life 2.

4. A super Mario FPS.

5. If Peter Molyneux would give us a game with all the promises he really intended, it would actually be fun.

6. Another game similar to the old Silent Hills games. (The ones Team Silent made).

Min would have to be Mass Effect with all the glitches, texture pop-ins fixed and having the ability to move faster than a brisk walk would be my perfect game (yeah, I know I'm cheating a bit by picking a game that already exist, but oh well. Don't like it? Well TF.)

Nah, not my kind of game, I was thinking more fantasy setting.

Sorry about the double post, screwed up.
