Deathrow 2. Boost the number of teams, make it less linear and more story elements like getting fined because one of your drugged out superhuman players went ape shit in a bar and threw a guy through a window. That would be awesome.

A first person puzzler/RPG/strategy/3D platformer/shooter based in an alternate timeline where dinosaurs survived and humans learned to domesticate some them. Then, alien refugees come to Earth, and because of the primitive (dinosaur) life, they believe they can just land and take the resources they need. Wrong.

You can play on the Earth side or the alien side. Human side can control people and dinosaurs, alien side can control aliens and robots. The humans obviously have the advantage of brute strength and numbers, as well as endurance and knowledge of the planet, while aliens have the advantage of higher technology and maybe some kind of stealth.

Of course, the RPG elements would play the largest role, with the ability to change alliances, etc. and make the game your own. The part I would look forward to most would to be a dinosaur and join the alien side. Then I could be a dinosaur with a laser on my head. Hell yeah.

Thoughts?

My perfect game would be the ones I've been wanting to make a for a long time.
Perfect game to come out from a trained developer would be
A true Blue Guerrilla Combat Game, preferably set in an alternate dimension in the Vietnam Era...

If only I could be a designer T~T

I want a game where you play as a bear, let's get that straight. 3rd person view, 3D, of course. How about gladiator style armor? And a glaive-hammer weapon or something. And, I don't know, something a bit like Okami, but not quite, different myths and puzzles and enemies and stuff, I guess. This would be shit-tastic. Puzzle Adventure? Something like that I guess. But the main point of it is-

You play as a fuggin' grizzly bear with a glaive-hammer. That's what I want.

A post-apocalyptic survival horror/RPG game where the zombies follow all the rules, as seen in the Zombie Survival Guide, and where you have to do all the things to survive that you would have to do IRL. In short, the perfect game for me would be a fully authentic zombie apocalypse experience.

The Fable Scrolls. Er rather....TES with the interactivity of Fable. Mostly just all the stuff already from TES games, prefferably using Morrowind as the base, while taking from Fable the world's life and socializing elements, and maybe some of the combat stuff. The physical moral effects though should stay out, but being able to alter character appearance after creation and also maybe stats affecting appearance to some degree being put in. Also a few things from Two Worlds Id like in, but Im feeling lazy. (Not the bad voice acting)
I have high hopes for TES5.

Fix the combat and buggy engine, get rid of scaling enemies and it could be the greatest ever.
Scaled enemies should not be removed. I think alot of TES's problems can be resolved by making things an option. SOME people like the scaling system. It could be an option. Or perhaps should be toned down. And yes, I have hopes for TESV too but well, he asked PERFECT game. Morrowind isnt perfect, but way closer than any game I have ever played.

Hacking away at a level 38 Goblin Warlord for an eternity is grinding and just isn't fun.

It's tedious and boring.

I end up sliding the difficulty down out of impatience rather than anything else.

I think Fallout 3 did the enemy scaling better than Oblivion.

In F3 if you picked the right perks you felt like a complete tough as nails badass by the end, which is how I like to feel after all that XP hunting.

In Oblivion the enemies seemed to get harder as you levelled up, making you feel unrewarded for your hard work.
"I end up sliding the difficulty down out of impatience rather than anything else."
Exactly. Is that so hard? I play with the slider a bit lower than the middle, nothing wrong with that. Its such a simple fix. Ofcourse, I guess all other TES fans have God complexes.

It is a simple fix, but shouldn't it be the Devs' job to make a game that is properly balanced and fun on the normal difficulty setting?

I can only speak for myself but Fallout 3 felt like it did this much better.

It was insanely tough on first playthrough until you hit around level 8 or 9. Everything had to be meticulously micro-managed but as my character got more XP and new perks it started to open up and get easier, which felt like I was getting places.

I guess I just like my RPGs that way. Difficulty curve through clever level design or enemy AI, as opposed to Trolls with 1 million health that stagger you with EVERY kick.

That's another thing... I hope they get rid of that damn stagger mechanic. So frustrating!

Hmm, tough choice.

A multiplayer Hitman-like game.
This, and also an open world survival horror game (think GTA 4 with zombies), and there's multiplayer but it's not required.

As somebody who's made TES plugins, I have to say that this is less a problem with scaling and more a problem with how Bethesda RPG design favors giving mobs a bazillion hitpoints. Even some non-scalable mobs will require three dozen arrows to bring down.

Space sim when you play ONE character able to tour your ships.

Combat possibly limited to virtual reality in game.
I broached the topic a few times when I was messing around with developing my own. It's tricky business to realize right, and it's essentially multiple isolated games in one.

A team based territorial control game that has no hard time limit but a soft limit on resources used to respawn and building cover/buildings/weapons.

What are mobs?

Arrows in Oblivion were indeed very underpowered.

the perfect game for me would be a action/adventure sandbox with the main character being someone that's not a regular joe. imagine a mix between prototype, saints row 2, and set the customization factor up to 12.

i really like customization.

A snail that has to move over ridiculous terrain. Seriously, who thought it was good idea to make the player climb so many mountains with the Mako? Sometimes you just get stuck halfway up. And the boosters on the Mako are useless.

Also the Mako's shields take forever to recharge.

my perfect game would have to be a call of duty 4 style game as that game is the best game ive ever played but maybe with some sort of zombies in it, but the storyline will have to be clear and exciting
