Thallium is pretty sweet. Abilities include (but are not limited to): Absorbent in water, scent and tasteless, as well of colorless. Extremely toxic (symptoms include hair loss and damage to neural system, later death).

Often used for murder during the course of history.

Tc, Technetium
Why? Because it's a metal (transition metal, still "metal" in the name) but has no stable isotopes. Also, it's the first artificially produced element.
I second that from an intellectual/former chemistry student's view point.

From a more guilty conscience driven stance:
Because of the fact, that without mankind, there would only exist a few gramms(if) of this highly hazardous element on the whole earth and not the TONS we've put into the ecosphere, thanks to our greed.
Sometime the speak of Agent Smith in Matrix(mankind is a virus destroying it's host, hence it's extermination would rather be a good than a bad thing) sounds very reasonable to me.
Sad.

My favorite element is...a tie.
A rather obvious tie, too, between Uranium and Neon. Those two elements are awesome in their own ways. One gets awesome explosions of doom, and the other is just cool because it glows when excited, and it will not blow up in your face. The contrast between the two reactions is also nice.
Those.

And everything that reacts with water:
You know that video was faked? They did it on Mythbusters. Still entertaining though.

Definitely carbon. Although, if I have to draw out one more methyl group, I think that I may scream.

That's kinda ominous. Albeit good to know, for the next time I visit my girlfriend's parents. *Evil maniacal laugh*

I've always liked Ununquadium, just because it's so... "out there". No one really knows what it is, or what it does (at least I don't, no one ever told me what it was). All I know is that it's dense as fuck, radioactive, and has a really cool name.

You have to be relatively intellectual to figure out how to work the forums properly.
I just finished Chemistry this year, and I'd have to say Ag and Au.

Not just because I love that song either:

Man, everyone knows that ununoctium is where it's at!

Ununoctium. It has a half life of 0.89ms, and thus absolutely no practical use.
