The Playstation Loses.. To the Playstation

So, apparently the Playstation 3 has dropped way behind the Xbox 360, Wii, and even the Playstation 2.

Anyways, I thought that was good for a laugh, I mean losing a console war is no shame, but losing the console war to the system you are trying to replace.. Wow.

I don't understand why Sony would decide not to include backwards compatibility for games of THEIR BEST SYSTEM EVER (PS2) into the PS3. You can only play PS2 games on certain PS3's that i'm pretty sure aren't made anymore. Yet PS1 games work fine. Even with the good PS3 games that are out now, I still believe PS3 deserves not to be winning the console war.

Haha, no really, it might catch up to the 360, but Microsoft and Sony would have to include LSD with every purchase before they caught up to Nintendo.


Although how much of a game console the Wii is, and how much of a toy it is are up to the individual.

No system is young enough to make a come back. When it becomes so unpopular that the price has to drop to 200 just to sell a unit, than there will be sells. But selling your business to pay for your house isn't financial stability.

Room for one more in that flame-proof suit? Sure, the PS3 has some nice titles, but the PS2 has so many more for a much more reasonable price.

It would be hilarious if they just start to make more games for the PS2 now instead of the PS3.

I didn't think this sort of thing was possible but I guess if you make an even more horrible attempt at backwards compatibility then the 360 did then thats what you get. I mean the 360 backwards compatibility sucks something awful but at least they tried unlike the PS3 that just decided that making their new system backwards compatibile with one of the greatet consoles of all time was a "bad idea".

I'm no fanboy but cmon Sony your better than that. I almost bought a PS3 too but now I just can't justify the expense. The Wii and 360 is plenty for me now.
