While I appreciate the concern, I want it to be made clear that 95% of my story's content was made up on the spot. So my battle posts will be of much higher quality.rogueshadows said:aaaaawww.... he was all set to be a blademaster... and then he went all dragon-ball z.SargentToughie said:...Beams of light blue justice...
this section was rather abrupt. if it were me, i would have had more build-up in the previous sections, maybe mentions of mystic power or the war. it would have been quite easy to set him up as killing his way through the soldiers with a sword rather than the ubiquitous blue lighht...
but that's just me.
it is indeed. i return your high-five, good sir.Higurashi said:High-five. Awesome comic. <3
this is dark, gritty... i love it. it's a fairy tale gone... interesting.
i especially like jyill's hair-flail. a tasteful depiction.
...slowly getting through all these.
understood. i guess i was just feeling let down... which is strange, considering it doesn't cost me anythng to read these. put it this way: the first few were so good that i cared a lot when it got worse.SargentToughie said:While I appreciate the concern, I want it to be made clear that 95% of my story's content was made up on the spot. Quite the handy post. A few spelling errors here and there, but I don't mind.vid20 said:snip

Don't think you started the couples thing. The Anarchistic Actors, The Caviler Clowns, the Dueling Duo Armitage Shanks and Diego Flombere have claim to the first use of 'couples' by a long shot.Lord Krunk said:Quite the handy post. I've also realised not only how many people are actually taking part in this Ratings War, but I've noticed a couple of people nicking my 'couples' theme. I mean, I was trying to do something different there!
No offense, they're still great characters, but it ruins the novelty and uniqueness of what I was doing. Eh, I can't change anything. But it does give me ideas for future interactions...
I stand corrected, I was obviously late to the party.Armitage Shanks said:Don't think you started the couples thing. The Anarchistic Actors, The Caviler Clowns, the Dueling Duo Armitage Shanks and Diego Flombere have claim to the first use of 'couples' by a long shot.
Of course, since couples are stipulated in the guidelines I don't think any of us are pioneering new frontiers here.
As a side note, to Krunk and anyone else who is writing for two; its a real *****. Like a lot harder than writing for a single fighter. You have to constantly remind your audience that you have two contestants, and keep them both doing something, and keep your opponent animated, and write an interesting story, and have dialogue, because lets face it, its unlikely you have a team who never talk, dialogue of course is harder to write than thoughts or an internal monologue.
I'm not saying their aren't benefits and a interesting things to do, its just a lot more complex ad time consuming.
And yes, thanks vid, that list is sure to come in useful.
Spelling mistakes? Wheeee my speciality. Glad you appreciate it.Lord Krunk said:A few spelling errors here and there..vid20 said:snip

At least I see no "forms" there, but you have succeeded in misspelling my nickname. Shame on you. Anyway, good job.vid20 said:Spelling mistakes? Wheeee my speciality. Glad you appreciate it.Lord Krunk said:A few spelling errors here and there..vid20 said:snip
<spoiler=Yep>That's the point of having everyone here, like in the first RW.Crowghast said:I overslept again, now i'm behind.
For a moment I was under the impression that I was going to end up going first.
Fortunately, that's for Blingy and Zem.
Sorry I haven't been updating, I forgot this, and the internet for that matter, existed for a few days, the reason which I am loathe to explain. Everyone has a great new character as well as each having their own historical epilogue. All of which does look promising.
Me? I've got a fucking intro that doesn't even relate to my character.
Well, until the end.
I'll be getting to work now. In the mean time, is it possible that the others can interact within the walls of purgatory while the other two duke it out?

Have I mentioned it is awesome to have you participating? This goes out to Emu, Dasta, Van, Nuke, LaCoil and, most of all, mshcherbatskaya as well. Hope you all will stick around and do your part, and I hope mscher stays for the full course this time. =3
Now all I'm missing is fullmetalangel. Can't have them all, huh. Anyway, I'm glad I've gotten so many people here. I can't believe you didn't show up for RW2, but better late than never
I just love you guys.
