May I inquire as to the games name?
sure, it's Half Life 2, Episode 2... I'm trying to be very careful about spoilers!

The end of FFX. Yeah it's not an original choice, but it's one of the few moments that pierced my black soul.
Agree.

Either that or:

At the end of the sequence in Home, when Tidus finds out that Yuna will die if she summons the Final Aeon, plus the fact that everyone else knew it would happen apart from him.

I didn't see that one coming.

Oh my God that is probably the most horrible evil thing ever done in the history of gaming. Why would Valve do that to us? I almost cried...

Oh man, the saddest moment for me was beating Tales of Symphonia (one of course.) That game was so amazing, and long at that.

But the game...

When I found out Kratos was part of Cruxios. Also when Sheena fell down the hole and I thought she was dead, that stuff made me cry. I don't care about the others because Zelos wasn't there.
What ending did you choose? I chose the good one, it had the best plot twist ever.
What was the good ending again? I'm playing through again and i've pretty much had the same ending each time. I didn't even know there were multiple endings. Sure your not talking about Dawn of the New World?
I'm positive, I've never played Dawn of a New World. In the end, you can
choose between having Zelos or Kratos when you're at the inn. When Colette or any of them wants to talk to you, ditch all of them until Kratos comes or you go out alone. If you talk to him and play your cards right, you can get him back on your team.

Also, I didn't remember if the plot twist was revealed before or after, but if you didn't know, and desperately want to know:
Kratos is Lloyd's father, and the one who killed his mother
Oh yeah, I did that on about my third play through. That was a great plot twist, but I was hella sad when I had to kill Zelos. Sure he gets annoying sometimes, but hes so awesome.

EDIT:
And also do you remember the fortune teller in Triet? You can go to her to see your reputation with people. To get Kratos I had to be really nice and I was a complete a-hole to Zelos, and we fought him at one point in the tower of salvation. If you kill Zelos you get Kratos a little later.

In Skies of Arcadia, when you
find out that Drachma survived the attack from Ramirez's ships. You find him in Glacia with Rhaknam. Turns out that Rhaknam was the purple Gigas. Drachma stayed there and watched over Rhaknam until Rhaknam succumbed to its wounds.

The end of Fire Emblem chapter 19, as well as Chapter 28 (I think it was 28...). If you've played the game, you will know what I'm talking about. I got a little misty eyed at both moments. I love that series.
Which one?

But for me the saddest was Homeworld - when you return to Karrak and see it's burning. Music and Karen voice greatly improved the effect
This.

I don't cry, but if I did, I would cry at this.

Also, when you playback the flight recordings of the destruction of the planet, the way the Taiidan destroy it without any emotion whatsoever was very powerful.

I'd have to say in GoW2 when Dom found maria, it was pretty sad.
Really I found that hilarious mostly because his pistol is bigger than she is.

The saddest moment might have to be HL2 ep2 or Starcraft when Karrigan decides screw everybody I'm gonna rule the universe.

I'd rather kill 10 Zelos than let Kratos die or be evil. :p

Lost Odyssey has a REALLY good one, girlfriend actually teared up (surprising from a JRPG)
Agreed, When Kaim goes to Numara for the first time and enters the house by the graveyard. Pretty sad scene.

FFVI when Kefka poisons the water supply is a bit 'woah'

I dunno, Zelos is awesome. He also is a better fighter. You notice how he is faster to guard after a combo? Wow we are really getting off topic, huh...

I forgot to save before going through the Item world in Disgaea 3. Got through the 10 levels, did the item homeroom and clicked force them to agree on the vote by accident, spent 4 hours slowly ticking away at the level 900 enemies for me to fail because I forgot to heal :(

Fast forward my characters are back down to level 30 from 50, and I have to go through 10 levels of item world again :(

You think? Anyway, I always thought Zelos is an annoying, arrogant idiot. Never really liked him. Kratos is more calm and serious, and never tries to be badass, but is anyway.
