This, pulling the trigger yourself is quite heart-breaking in itself but knowing the truth afterwards.... \o R.I.P. BossArtemis923 said:The end of MGS3 is some of the most soul-crushing shit I've ever seen.

Manipulative asshole, ain't he.Dr Mango said:The end of Shadow of the Collosus got me, just realising what you'd done for that bastard of a voice in the sky.
He is an annoying, arrogant idiot, but a lovable one. And I know why Kratos is such a bad ass, his hair, duh.crazyhaircut94 said:You think? Anyway, I always thought Zelos is an annoying, arrogant idiot. Never really liked him. Kratos is more calm and serious, and never tries to be badass, but is anyway.Phlaren1 said:I dunno, Zelos is awesome. He also is a better fighter. You notice how he is faster to guard after a combo? Wow we are really getting off topic, huh...crazyhaircut94 said:I'd rather kill 10 Zelos than let Kratos die or be evil.Phlaren1 said:crazyhaircut94 said:I'm positive, I've never played Dawn of a New World. In the end, you canPhlaren1 said:What was the good ending again? I'm playing through again and i've pretty much had the same ending each time. I didn't even know there were multiple endings. Sure your not talking about Dawn of the New World?crazyhaircut94 said:What ending did you choose? I chose the good one, it had the best plot twist ever.Phlaren1 said:Oh man, the saddest moment for me was beating Tales of Symphonia (one of course.) That game was so amazing, and long at that.
But the game...
When I found out Kratos was part of Cruxios. Also when Sheena fell down the hole and I thought she was dead, that stuff made me cry. I don't care about the others because Zelos wasn't there.choose between having Zelos or Kratos when you're at the inn. When Colette or any of them wants to talk to you, ditch all of them until Kratos comes or you go out alone. If you talk to him and play your cards right, you can get him back on your team.
Also, I didn't remember if the plot twist was revealed before or after, but if you didn't know, and desperately want to know:
Kratos is Lloyd's father, and the one who killed his motherOh yeah, I did that on about my third play through. That was a great plot twist, but I was hella sad when I had to kill Zelos. Sure he gets annoying sometimes, but hes so awesome.
EDIT:
And also do you remember the fortune teller in Triet? You can go to her to see your reputation with people. To get Kratos I had to be really nice and I was a complete a-hole to Zelos, and we fought him at one point in the tower of salvation. If you kill Zelos you get Kratos a little later.![]()
It was a very good ending, but nothing in that game really made me overly sad. I see how some things could be sad for some people, but i guess i didn't get immersed enough.miracleofsound said:Don't do it! The last hour of Mass Effect and they way the story climaxes is one of the finest moments in gaming and you don't would be robbing yourself of that experience!mathadawg said:Exactly this moment. I went and rewatched that scene again. I knew exactly when everything was going to happen, but it still almost made me cry.miracleofsound said:'Dad'...'

and I still need to finish mass effect. It's so tempting to press the spoiler buttons especially when there are like 5 different ones.
Ya... every time I hear that theme playing I get sad now. The end of Zelda OoT made me cry... perhaps out of sheer frustration that the most epic game ever had come to an end....Artemis923 said:The end of MGS3 is some of the most soul-crushing shit I've ever seen.
