With love and fear- Mcupobob
I really don't get the point of the video, should it be sad, or should I be scared for some reason?
There is no point, you watch it and it makes you feel however you feel. So if you didn't get well then there was nothing really to get. I thought it was just a good mind trip.
I got kinda sad for the machine, since I think that it was trying to become human, but just couldn't.

Might as well give you a link to an awesome site.

My personal favorite on that site:

Item #: SCP-173

Object class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-173 is to be kept in a locked container at all times. When personnel must enter SCP-173's container, no fewer than 3 may enter at any time and the door is to be relocked behind them. At all times, two persons must maintain direct eye contact with SCP-173 until all personnel have vacated and relocked the container.

Description: Moved to Site19 1993. Origin is as of yet unknown. It is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP-173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP-173. Personnel assigned to enter container are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation. In the event of an attack, personnel are to observe Class 4 hazardous object containment procedures.

Personnel report sounds of scraping stone originating from within the container when no one is present inside. This is considered normal, and any change in this behaviour should be reported to the acting HMCL supervisor on duty.

The reddish brown substance on the floor is a combination of feces and blood. Origin of these materials is unknown. The enclosure must be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis.

EDIT: I'd also suggest these for reading:

Creeped out to hell!
The SCP Foundation is awesome. Some really talented writers on there. So no, it isn't.

Anyone ever seen this video before? It's a trailer for the game Cryostasis. The game itself isn't scary, though it has some monster closets and truly freakish monsters. It's much more about solving a mystery by piecing together what it throws at you, but some of the small horror elements work in well, because the story is really morbid.

This is my favorite game trailer ever. It's not scary to me, but it's incredibly freaky, and I love the fluid cuts from one scene to another. Watch it and leave the video feeling slightly more cold.

I love the SCP.
I recommend going on their site, searching flying jeep then reading the article.
Then look at the memo's between staff at the bottom.
Most amusing

1) That's not a screamer guys, don't worry
2)
Personally, in a fight between a mangled creature with no arms and a man with a baseball bat, I'd put my money on the guy with a bat. All I'm saying

Yes, but it is totally dark, maybe he can wave like a madman with it, but I don't think that he'd hit anything.

But it is a great story, you must admit.

What is that from?
A few days late, but if you still want to know, that's from Courage the Cowardly Dog. The creature was just part of Courage's nightmare. I think the episode was called "Perfect" or something like that.

Edit: Woah, ninja'd at the same posting time. O_O

I'm not denying it's a great story but the only thing the creature has going for it is that it walks on ceilings. He has a baseball (I assume) bat.
Also because of the thumps he would know wherever it moves to and it seems to move slowly although it may move faster once he's seen it.

Still an awesome story
my rational explanation of why he would win helps allay my fears

then i woke up again totaly paralised and i mean totaly. i couldent move or scream
but evventualy i was able to yell out (just to check that i was REALY awake)
i was Terrified words cant describe the primal fear of that night
Sounds a lot like what people say it feels like to be abducted. I'd check your scalp and nose if I were you. Nah just pulling your leg. Some things just can't be explained, and sometimes it's just the house making noise. In any case the paralysis can't be healthy so I'd start talking to doctors and maybe do a sleep study if it happens again.

It's called sleep paralysis, as far as I know, it isn't dangerous, but it does cause hallucinations.

Also, if I sleep on my stomach, for some reason my dreams are always weird, but I am guaranteed a neck ache in the morning. Just because my head is turned and stuff.

Yeah, as David_G said it's sleep paralysis. When you enter into deep sleep (dreaming, as you mentioned) it's basically your conscious mind shutting down and your unconscious mind defragging. While that happens, your body is essentially shut down to keep you from thrashing in response to a dream stimulus and hurting yourself; the situation you described happens when you're semi-jarred out of deep sleep. Your conscious brain hasn't fully taken control again, so your body is still paralyzed, and the fact that your subconscious is still at least partially in control leads to it creating images and sensations that you think are "real" and are often quite terrifying. The best thing you can do is either try to go back to sleep to "reset" the system or try to force your conscious brain to engage completely (I usually focus on wiggling the toes on one foot, then the ankle once the toes are going, then the knee once the ankle is going, and by that point you should be able to move everything again).

I've had it happen to me a LOT if you couldn't tell. I still sleep with a light on because given a semi-lit room or a completely dark one, my subconscious can conjure much, MUCH worse things in total darkness.
