Jason ran up beside Garrus, Katie, and Simon, panting with excitement.
"Whew! I haven't fought this much in a while!" He said over the gunfire and mayhem, bending over in a manner to catch his breath.
"But Katie's right Gar, It'd be best if we can get down to the lab as quickly as possible! Who knows how close Mr. Murderkill is close to finishing that virus." He added.

"Alright then. So here's the plan that we have on the table: I break through this floor, and we wind up in the middle of the third. Then we kick their asses while they are confused. Only problem I can see with it is that we'd be attacked from both fronts," Garrus said, sending another shock wave to make sure the guards below were still in place.
Jason thought for a second before reaching a solution.
"So, we make a circle. Everyone that can has armor or really tough skin (Me, Katie, Tommy, and Rich) get on the outside of the circle. Everyone else stay on the inside. You'll use us as cover while you attack from inside the circle. Sounds good Gar?" Jason asked.

"If necessary, I can completely block off one side with a plant wall, to allow us to concentrate on one group of guards at a time," Katie said as she closed the few cuts in her armour created by the guards' attacks. "If anyone needs to get down to the rest of us without breaking a leg, maybe Simon could help them."
Can I get a feeling for where everyone is? I know Tommy ran down the hall, pushing through the mooks, and Jason was right behind him, but I don't know how far back everyone else is.
"I don't care what we do so long as we do it quickly. We have no idea how much time we actually have, so we need to get moving now. If you all don't come up with something, I'm going to go down to that third floor myself." Richard said agitatedly as he waited for them to come up with a plan.
Well, Simon did just teleport near Garrus, I did just meet up with Garrus to tell him the plan, and Katie, Dona, and Richie all just gave their two cents...so I'm guessing we're all together now.
"Well, that settles it!" Jason said, putting his hands together.
"Garrus? Tommy? Will you two do the honors?" He asked politely, despite being amidst gunfire from the remaining guards.
Katie nodded, and moved to stand next to Jason. She took a little comfort in being close to him in the difficult situation. "Let's do it." While waiting for the others, she prepared to expand her shield to block off half the hallway, the way she had suggested earlier.
Thanks, my desire to post had been dulled by not knowing where everyone was.

"On the count of three guys," Garrus said to everyone, practicing the motion a few times as he counted. "One, Two, Three!" he yelled as he punched the floor, sending a shock wave that caused the floor to fall down to the one below. Some of the guards were caught off guard, but the rest quickly fired shots as they went into cover.
Golem fell down first, with both arms stretch out he spun around, clearing the guards nearby and making an empty space beneath the hole. He then picked up one of the riot shields and held it up to give cover for the next person.
Katie jumped down to the floor below, bending to kill her momentum. She sprang up and took up a defensive position, blocking any shots the guards fired at her. To provide additional cover, she doubled the width of her plant shield in the space of a few seconds. It became considerably heavier, though, and she braced herself to be able to hold it up and still defend herself.
Jason excitedly jumps down the hole, standing next to Tommy and Katie to make sure that the others would be covered. He watched as Katie's plant shield grew, taking up most of the hallway. At that point, an idea flashed in his mind.
"Katie, what if you could widen your plant shield, to the point that it takes up the entire hallway, trapping the guards, and giving us a temporary blockade? Then you could break it off, and we could get away!" He told her as bullets ricocheted off of him.

"I can do that, but what if we go the wrong way?" Katie said. "I'd need to be sure I don't stop us from getting where we need to go." Her shield bucked on her arm as gunfire slammed into it repeatedly. If the others didn't get down to their level soon, there was still a chance that someone would shoot a weak point.
