The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

"I've got nothing either, Garrus." Alister said as he wove through various streets and alleyways. "Though it's not for a lack of suspicion-to be honest, every building here seems like there's something seedy going on inside. Maybe we'd have more luck seeking out the most pristine, spotless place we can find. In a town like this, those types have always got something to hide."

"Alister has a point, we are talking about a someone trying to hide an army as they train them. This guy's going to want a skyscraper or underground complex because of the sheer amount of space and versatility it provides." Richard said as he flew above the city, scanning for anything out of the ordinary.

Stupid internet blackout, made me be off the whole day (though that was probably for the best due to all the stress today). Anyways, back now!

"We should have asked for more info from the guy," Garrus groaned, reaching the other side of Kent. He stopped as he looked around, noting a factory over in the distance. He looked at the sign pointing to it and knew he had found it.

"Everyone, other side of Kent. Past the Stonewall Plant. 'G.A.'s Cleaning Company', guess this is where they make their cleaning products, and do their merc business too. Located on a hill, means it might have an underground part too. Proceed with caution."

"Alright, heading over there now." Richard flew over and started loitering over the area as he waited for the others.

 

[CJ1145]

"Got it, I'm on the way."

Alister raced through the streets, taking a shortcut he had spotted while on patrol. After a few minutes he had reached the destination, parking a block or so away and walking the rest. He spotted Richard flying above the area and waved to him, to make his presence known.

Garrus parked his bike at the front of the G.A. sign, walking the rest of the way. He was careful for any traps as he jumped over the fence, making his way to the front entrance without any troubles.

"Well guys it seems safe so far. Watch when we get a ton of trouble on the inside," he told everyone with a chuckle.

"That would be our luck." Richard said as he landed near the back of the building.

"We do have people that can handle large amoutns of fire though, so it shouldn't be too bad."

Alister drew Excalibur and rested it on his shoulder. For the sake of preparedness, he wanted it in his hands.

"So, this is the place then? What's the plan, just bust down the door, or something a bit more sneaky?"

"T-that's a good question actually. What the hell is our plan?" Garrus asked everyone. "I guess some of us can sneak in, while the rest of us distract them. Make sure it's the right place and they're the right guys. Any other ideas?"

 

[blaze96]

"The only other plan would be to shoot first and ask questions later, which isn't really an option. I'm at the back entrance, say the word and I'll distract them while another group moves in from the front of the building and hits them from behind." Richard replied.

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie pulled up next to Garrus' motorbike, parked and hastily joined him at the front doors. "I'm willing to try the stealth approach," she said. "I'm fairly confident in my ability to hide. What would we be looking for once inside?"

"Military technology would be a dead give away. If they are a cleaning company, they don't have use for humvees, tanks, guns, and grenades. Anyone talking in terms of rank would be another major red flag, any talk of a commander would easily give away their real purpose." Richard replied into his comm.

 

[tsatoma]

"Okay Richard. I'd say you go in and distract them, the rest of us will sneak in. Sound good everyone?" Garrus asked everyone, already at the front of the door.

"For those sneaking in with me be careful of the cameras. Already see a few," he added, "Don't want them knowing just yet."

 

[CounterAttack]

"I'm right behind you," Katie replied, moving to stand with Garrus. "Should we split up and search individually once we're inside?" It seemed like a good idea to her. If they stayed together in a group, a single mishap would compromise the entire team. But then, if they moved through the building on their own, there was a chance one or two of them would be found and isolated.

 

[tsatoma]

"Splitting up sounds good. As soon as you find anything, absolutely anything then we'll meet back up. We need to be careful here, who knows what they might have in store for us," Garrus told them.

 

[blaze96]

"Alright, but I claim no responsibility if this turns out to be an actual cleaning company." Richard said before standing up and using the turrets on the suit and the suit itself to break through a wall. He was met with men in combat fatigues playing cards or drinking with their weapons nearby.

"Well Garrus, I've confirmed this is their base. The only questions now are, how many do you want and is this just a small depot or an actual base?" He immediately brought the blades out and began attacking the men who scrambled for weapons. He made sure to go for non-lethal shots before moving so they would be facing the exact opposite direction from the rest of the group. He took a few of them down before the rest grabbed their weapons and focused on him.

"Alright, they got their backs to you. Get inside while they are to busy focusing on me to care about the door."

 

[CounterAttack]

"All right, let's go," Katie said quietly, pushing open the front doors. The entrance hall appeared to be deserted, but for the camera in a glass bubble in one of the corners of the room. She immediately headed left while it wasn't looking, and ducked through a door into a hallway.

Tommy looked at his GPS, the base was on the other side of town from where he was, " Guy's I'm across town right now, I'll try and get there as soon as possible." He took a hard right turn and began burning rubber down main-street, weaving in and out of traffic, running red-lights, everything so he could get their in time, note to self, get siren.

Garrus thanked Richard as he ran inside, watching the cameras to make sure he wasn't caught. He went over to a large locked door, opening it with solid kick. The other side of the door was a steel hallway.

"Might have found the way in. Might keep checking around though. Everyone alright?" Garrus asked into his comm, ducking back outside the door when he saw a camera above it, "Close one there."
