"Huh, must have never been working when you guys came in. Such a shame, it would have been nice to have met you sooner," Garrus said, "Because you know. World might end, none of us might make it, all that stuff. But we'll stop Omoi right Rich? We'll kick his ass for everything he's done."

"Kick his ass? No, I'm going to fucking kill him. When I'm finished, he will regret everything he has done and beg me for mercy. There will be none for him however, and I will only be content when I see the life leave his eyes." Lillian let out a gasp, she had ever seen him like that. She decided to change the subject so she might not have to see it again or for too long.

"Yes Garrus, it would have been nice to have met you sooner. Anyone who joined my extended family without my knowledge needs to be found out."

"I think you'll have to fight my mom for that Rich," Garrus said before turning back to Lillian, "Well you found me so that's a good thing. It's a great thing. Yep. You've probably been told this before but you're very beautiful."

"Oh, I can share. So long as I get the final blow she can do whatever she wants." Richard replied seriously to Garrus.

Lillian giggled at Garrus' comment. "You'd be surprised Garrus, as I said I don't get out much. I've dated a few times, but compliments aren't thrown my way as many times as one might think. Thank you though, and you don't look too bad yourself."

Garrus blushed even more at the comment, turning as he heard Doc Loo trying to cover up a laugh. He glared at her causing her to laugh even more before leaving the room and laughing loudly in the hall.

"Well. Thank you for the compliment Lillian. If you become a regular to the Promenade you'll be sure to get more compliments from me," he told her.

Lillian couldn't help but laugh at that.

"That's so cheesy it's actually rather endearing. I may just have to move in now." Richard immediately replied.

"Would make things easier for me as well. Could up your duties to also managing the museum section of the building if you want. You can move in and a lot of things become easier."

"Well it's settled then."

"Yep, and the added bonuses of Garrus blushing like a school girl around you as well as finally having a drinking buddy here is too much to resist."

"Yes!" Garrus said excitedly. "Though we'll first have to fix this place up...shouldn't take too long. Truth be told I planned on taking a break from the Society once this whole war thing is over," he said, his attitude changing from happy to being melancholy in the span of a sentence.

"Well I hope you won't leave poor little me all alone." Lillian joked.

"Honestly though, you don't need to watch over me, I'm a big girl. You can run off and do whatever it is you planned on doing and I'll still be here when you get back."

"I certainly won't be leaving immediately after everything is done like I was planning to. At least not now," he told her, "I still don't have an idea on what I'm going to do. Just need to get away for a bit. Maybe I can convince my mother to let me stay at one of her vacation homes..."

"Well I'll still be here when you get back. This place won't exactly run itself and someone needs to keep an eye on this one. Otherwise he'll do something to lose all his money and land both of us without a job." Lillian replied.

Alister poked his head in the doorway. "I heard something about recruiting," he said "and if you want my two cents I say the first thing we need around here is a smithy. This sword isn't exactly going to stick back together with superglue."

Tommy looked over at the blade, [color= blue] "I think I know someone who could fix that, my sister Dira is an Artificer, she specializes in working with magical items, I can give her a call if you want." [/color]

"Please do" Alister said, a hopeful gleam in his eye. "This thing's a bit too valuable to leave broken."

 

[Captainguy42]

" Alright, just let me give her a call," He got up and took out his cell phone, dialing his sisters number.

" Hey sis a friend of mine needs his sword fixed. " He paused as he heard his sisters response on the other end.

[color= blue]Alright, your taking dad's Jag? 30 minutes? Oh and bring some devices I think we might need them.[/color]

Alright, thanks look forward to seeing you." Tommy turned of the phone and turned to Alister. " She'll be here in thirty minutes."

Camille stood up and took a moment to stretch. She had done all she could for her son as of now, anything else would have to wait until after everything was over. She didn't want to leave her son's side, but she knew she needed to talk to the others.


"I'm already looking forward to coming back," Garrus told Lillian, his attention turning to his mother who had just walked into the room, "Mom! Is Leland alright?"
"He'll be fine for now. I got him stable enough to last until we're done with everything. I take it all of you are well enough to still participate in the fight?" she asked.

Lillian laughed at Garrus.

"Sometimes you just say the cutest, most endearing, things. I think I may like you already, but let's not get ahead of ourselves." Richard turned to Camille when she spoke.

"I'll be good to go once I get a few moments to repair the suit once again. I think we put his plans back a bit so we may have gained some breathing room." Lillian turned to Richard.

"I saw the state that suit was in, what the hell did you do to it."

"Well it was either that or die Lil, I think I made the right choice."

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie got up from her corner and answered Camille. "Yeah, I guess I'm fine. Just a bit of a headache is all that's bothering me right now." She peeled back the armour over her left forearm again, and slid the bloodstained sleeve up her arm. Nothing was to be seen of the injuries she had sustained, save for the sight that a large area of her skin had turned slightly green. That would fade given time, like a bruise.

Camille raised an eyebrow at what Lillian had said before putting it aside to address what Richard and Katie had said.

"Glad to hear that you guys won't be out of the fight. I did grow somewhat worried that it all might have been too much for you guys to handle, but I see that my fears were misplaced," she told them before adding, "I can only imagine we have a few hours before Omoi starts his attack."

Jason quietly thanked the Doctor as Camille's words got his attention.

"Mrs. Claidt, I don't think you have anything to worry about from us. With Leland back under control and not fighting against us, I don't think we'll have much of dilemma." Jason said, showing a look of courage and bravery.

"I do wonder though...will you be fighting alongside us on the battlefield?" He asked.

"No I'm just going to stay here and twiddle my thumbs as you guys go and fight the man that has fucked over my life!" she replied with sarcasm dripping from her voice. She made sure he got the point by rolling her eyes afterwards before continuing, "Besides I'm sure as hell more useful than the majority of you anyways so of course I'll be fighting alongside you guys. You'll be needing the help."
