Richard looked at the man, and found the revenge he sought hard after wasn't as sweet as he thought it would have been. He had tried to justify it by sating he deserved it as long as he had been resisting, that it needed to be done. That justification had vanished as soon as he complied, and now seeing the man in such a pitiful state was really making him wonder why he had planned to kill him in the first place. The man was a power hungry coward and nothing more, he would leave it up to a jury to decide what his punishment would be. He realized this man was as much a pawn as anyone else in Omoi's scheme.
"Stop your sniveling you pathetic bastard, I'm not going to kill you. You'll face a jury of peers, and I'll try and keep them from killing you. You're nothing but a pawn, a coward, and a pathetic excuse for a man and a human being. You'll pay for your crime, maybe one day you'll actually get a conscious and feel bad about the people you've killed today." Richard put his helmet back on and reopened the hole for the ladder, he turned back to Gerard.
"You should be safe here until the cops come for you, your army is losing as we speak."
