Just making a small note: if we're in costume, then you won't be able to see most of Katie's face on account of her hood. Other than that, can I get a rose in one hand?

Katie chuckled to herself for a little while, as she waited for Jason to return. Boys could be so forgetful. Once he was back in the car, she said, "Allons-y, mon ami," in a fairly good French accent, a cheeky smile on her face.

As Aaron was half way to the Promenade he took a closer look at his Ferrari. He nedded some upgrades to actually make it his. He passed the Promenade and made his way to one of his friend's body shop.

Since everyone is going to be in costume then have Aaron in his ice form with black jeans and fingerless gloves, no shirt. Also if its not to hard have one of his arms as a ice blade.

Jason replied to the smile with a grin of his own (though you couldn't see it since his mask was still up. He quickly took notice of this, and put it down.)

"So...today, you took part in your first real mission. How do you feel?" He asked in a faux news reporter voice as he pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road.

 

[CounterAttack]

"I don't know," Katie answered. "It was... well... hmm." She didn't know how to describe the way she felt. So much had happened, particularly between her and Jason... No! Don't think like that, Katie, she ordered herself. You've only known him a few days. That's not enough to generate anything between you two.

Or is it? an answering thought said. Jason's a nice guy, he's given you compliments a few times... what could possibly go wrong?

No! Shut up! she told the thought, redirecting her attention to the question at hand. "I don't really know how to answer that question," she said. "A fair bit of it was improvisation on my part, although I was scared out of my mind when the gun went off."

As Aaron pulled up into the body shop it was bustling with workers and mechanics working on various high end exotic cars. Aaron parked and approached a guy inside a mustang.

"Ey Ricky what up," Aaron exclaimed.

The mechanic pulled his way from installing a computer into the car's console.
"Aaron how you doing bro," Ricky made his way over to the Ferrari,"What happened to the Bugatti?"

"I still got it I just need you to do 2 "minor" adjustments to this," Aaron handed Ricky a sheet of paper.

The mechanic looked over the paper and nodded,"Alright it may take me some time but I should be able to get it done by the end of the week."

"Great though I may be able to get you another car to work on," Aaron tapped on his communicator,"Hey Jason lock on to my location and meet me here."

Tommy had stopped by his house and picked up his things, two trunks full of clothes and everything he would need while living in the Promenade. After finally detaching himself from his mothers incredibly long goodbye hug, he got back in his car and drove off. Eventually he made it to the Promenade, he got out, and took both trunks out of the back, lifting them both up without any trouble. He went to the door, put down his trunks and knocked, waiting patiently for someone to answer. As he waited he looked up and admired the architecture of the Promenade, and then the fleet of sports cars and motor cycles parked out front.

I left something out in Golem's sheet, when he's in his Superhero clothes, over the tights he wears a black leather vest. For some reason I forgot to write it down at the time but whenever I invision him it's wearing a vest. Hope it's not to much of a bother.

No problem. I should probably write all this info down...but I know I won't. Just making things harder for myself.

The receptionist opened the door for Tommy, telling him that she was just closing up for the night. "Here is a Promenade map. I circled the lounge which is where you'll be staying at, so you can make your way there whenever you want. You can take a look around the museum too, though you might want to ask one of the other members for a tour. One or two of them should know their way around it," she said as she handed him a map, pointing to the main hall before going to finish packing up.

Simon considered the doctors words

"Sure, I'll do what it takes. Whatever you want doc, I'll try it"

He smiled nervously

Richard decided he was going to take the car and bike back from Aaron. He didn't give out gifts to be slapped in the face by those receiving them. Now all he had to do was wait for the bastard to return.

"That's the beauty of being a superhero: It's almost all improvisation!" Jason said as he sped down the semi-empty streets.

"And don't worry, when the gun went off, I got a little scared too. We got lucky that time. Thank God Tommy was a super with invulnerability. I don't think I could've handled a death on my hands." He said, his voice quickly changing to a serious tone.

 

[CounterAttack]

"Yeah, me neither. Especially since this was my first time..." Katie trailed off, looking out the side window at the blur created by Jason's speed. Strangely enough, it seemed that the Ferrari was completely silent. She couldn't hear the engine working, it was that quiet. "I guess we need to be more careful if someone's holding one and won't hesitate to use it," she added after a while.

"Ah, excellent. However, that will have to wait until I can find some evil doer to pawn these broken bones off on," Birras motioned to his various casts with his good arm, "A doctor works best with two hands, you know. Would go so much smoother."

"Agreed. but we'll never know someone's psyche. We won't know what they're thinking, or how they're thinking, unless they blatantly tell us. So we'll never know if the person would fire off their weapon until we actually see it." Jason said, rounding a corner. Before they knew it, they were back at the Promenade.

"Hm. The way back is always quicker." He said as he turned off the car and got out.

"Umm...sorry for skipping out on breakfast. Maybe I can treat you tomorrow?" He said as he opened the door for her.

"Screw it I though he's coming. Hey Rick I'm gone call me when you finished," Aaron started on his way back to the Promenade.

He could have taking the Bugatti back but he decided that he would just walk. He always enjoyed taking a nice brisk walk.

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie gracefully stepped out of the car and said, "Sure, why not. As long as we're not interrupted by anyone trying to rob a bank or anything." She gave Jason another smile at that, trying to look a little more than just interested. She couldn't tell if it was working, though; Jason seemed different from the other boys she knew around the Horizon area where she'd grown up.

As Aaron made it closer to the Promenade he noticed Katie and Jason where by the entrance gracefully staring into each other's eyes.

"Hey guys I know a great hotel if y'all need it!!!" Aaron shouted from across the street.

Richard can could hear Aaron shouting from outside as he had taken a walk around the building. He immediately went to where the noise came from, where Aaron inevitably was. He immediately walked up to him.

"I'm going to want the keys to the Kawasaki and the Ferrari I gave you today back. I don't much appreciate giving a gift to only receive sarcasm in return, and since I'm not obligated to let you keep my gift, I'm going to take it back. If you don't need it, I'm sure the new guy would love to have them when he gets here, and mine will be going to Cillian whenever he shows up next. Perhaps they will at least respond with a polite decline rather than outright slapping me in the face." Richard immediately said to him.

Aaron pulled out the keys for the Kawasaki and tossed them to Rich.

"Personally I was in a rather bad mood when we engaged in this gift giving. I apologize though I have a new outlook on life now and how I should treat everyone close to me better. So I'm sorry, if there is anything I can do to make it up just tell me."

Richard tried to be angry, he honestly did, but it just wasn't working. He tossed the keys back.

"God damn you, I try to be angry at you and you screw that up. Keep it, we've all had bad days I guess. I guess we'll see what happens with this new outlook and how long it lasts, far be it from me to fuck it up right off the bat though." Richard said before he began to walk back.

Tommy was inside the Promenade now, he had originally intended to go straight to the lounge and introduce himself, but he got sidetracked at the museum. When he heard the shouting he turned around inquisitively and went outside to take a look. As he exited the building he saw Katie and Jason and waved to them, then he turned his attention to the other two he faintly recognized.
Dammit, looks like I missed the fun part. Tommy thought seeing Richard give the keys back.
