"Fine, they can just eat whenever they're ready then," Garrus said as he made a plate for himself and went into the lounge. "I see Patriot dropped off the papers he said he would. That's nice. What's the new guy like? Good team member material?" Garrus asked trying to make conversation as he took a seat and grabbed the tv remote, flipping through channels as he ate.

"I dunno, I've never been the type of guy to rush things. I figured that i'd take it a little slow. But not too slow; I don't wanna get friend-zoned." Jason said to Aaron, opening the door with his foot.

"Besides, why the hell are you giving me advice? You suck at giving advice." He added, making his way up to his room.

A smell of food quickly graced Jason's nostrils as he walked past the lounge, setting off the sequence of events which resulted in a grumbling stomach.

"Shit, didn't have anything to eat the entire day." He said to himself.

"Hey what you mean I'm great at giving advice. Plus you remind me of me when when I was your age young and naive. I just want to see you succeed," Aaron dug around in his pocket and pulled out a couple hundred bucks,"here get her something nice."

Katie wondered why Richard had wished Jason good luck. Dismissing the thought after a few seconds, she turned to Tommy. "Well, I guess Jason had the right idea. I'll show you what I know around the place, but it's not much," she said. "Is that all right with you?"

She took the flower out from behind her ear and began spinning it around her fingers subconsciously, thinking of possible reasons why the new recruit didn't speak. Maybe he had selective mutism, maybe it was the price he paid for his toughness... she didn't know.

"Thanks, but no thanks." Jason said, pushing away Aaron's "generous" offer. As he did so, a slot on the armor's leg opened. Jason took a plastic card out of it.

"See this? It's the company card. PP! gave it to me yesterday when I told him I wanted to go shopping. He knew I didn't have any money, and he gave it to me as "pay". And believe me, it has way more than just 100 dollars on it." Jason said before opening the door to his room.

"Whoa how I aint get one of those. How much exactly is one it?" Aaron inquired.

Aaron dropped off the bags he was carrying in Jason's room.

"Well, for starters, you don't need one. You're rich. Secondly, I don't know how much money is on it, PP! didn't specify. But apparently, it was enough to get several bags of high brand clothes and sneaks. Now skedaddle. I gotta try this stuff on." Jason said, pushing Aaron out the door, and closing it behind him.

As Jason went to sit on his bed, he noticed that it was a lot lower than before. At that exact moment, something in his head clicked.

"A bed frame!" He groaned, facepalming at his forgetfulness.

"I think he'll make a good teammate. Took a bullet to the head and kept going, so the power is there. He is mute, so I'll have to make some special modifications to his communicator, probably along the lines of lip reading or blinking out Morse code. Though he seems amicable enough. I'm glad patriot was so timely with the papers, eases some of my worries to know where they are and under what security." Richard said as he opened the first file. It seemed Patriot had them in order of outermost perimeter to the very file cabinet they lay in and what lock it had, and then those were ordered into electrical and non-electrical security precautions. The files were...extensive to say the least.

"Sounds good. Seems interesting. And it certainly looks like you'll be having fun looking through all those papers," Garrus remarked as he finished eating, quickly going to the kitchen and putting his dishes away before taking a seat again in the lounge.

After trying on a majority of the clothes, Jason decided it was enough for now. He hadn't eaten since this morning, and his stomach was grumbling louder than before. Now, it was time to eat.

"I wonder what smell was..." His voice trailed as he left his room.

As he got to the lower levels, he noticed Garrus in the lounge.

"Hey Gar, did someone cook in here? Whatever it was, it smells good." He said, taking a seat at the table.

"Yep. Beef stir fry. Go and have some. Probably will have to reheat it though," Garrus replied back, "You get new clothes? Won't be needing to borrow anymore then I'm assuming."

"Fuck Yes. BEEF!" Jason bellowed as he stomped into the kitchen, quickly spotting the stir fry.

"This day just keeps getting better and better!" He said as he enthusiastically put a bowl of the magical beef-based dish in the microwave.

Birras quickly wheeled his way into the kitchen. "Stir fry? Who said stir fry?!" The doctor gazed upon the majesty of the beef stir fry, "Oh, holy Ra, yes yesyes!"

Tommy nodded and followed Katie back into the Promenade, taking one last look at his new car and bike. Inside he picked his luggage back up, and began making his way through the lobby. As he walked he noticed the door to the museum was open and he lingered to take a peak. The first thing he saw was a towering wall that was covered in bits of twisted metal and photos, the wall was titled "The Wall of Might". Every piece of metal and photo represented a time when a member of the Society had performed an awesome display of strength. It was arranged by hero and there was a section for every super-strength hero since the first generation of the Society of Justice. There was a pair of manacles, five inches thick of solid steel that Patriot Punch and broken out of in an escape from the hands of a villain. A shell that had been caught mid-flight, it was not only intact but even had the catcher's finger-prints embedded on it. A picture of even older hero stopping a train from tumbling over a gorge like in the Superman cartoons. Each trophy seemed more impossible and more awe inspiring than the last, as Tommy looked at all the trophies his sense of admiration grew, until he reached the last section.

That section was completely empty, save for a small sign: " For The Future Trophies of Our Newest Member, Golem". Seeing that large, empty space with his name on it washed away the sense of pride and joy he had felt when he first heard he was accepted to the team. Suddenly he felt a great weight press down on him, as he compared the rest of the wall to his section he thought, How am I suppose to match up to them?

So I have a two questions.

1st, is the Wall of Might thing ok? I thought it would be a good thing for Tommy's character because brings out his insecurity, and it also gives an idea of how badass the Society was in the past (I'm assuming they were).

2nd, how old is the Society of Justice? Has it had a lot of previous generations? How many teams have there been before us.

Katie followed Tommy into the museum, a little awestruck by the images and souvenirs accumulated over the years. Then she spotted Tommy standing alone, staring at a blank section of the wall. She quickly hurried over to him, and tried to get a look at his face. He seemed somehow sad, as if depressed by something.

She cautiously put a hand on his shoulder to reassure him. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Don't let their achievements get you down, Tommy. You'll be just as good as anyone you've seen on this wall. No, better - you're freaking indestructible. I'm pretty sure not even Patriot Punch can survive a bullet to the head like you did." She gave him a small smile.

Shifting into the museum, Simon walked up quietly behind Katie and the new guy

"Ahhh so you are the newest member of our team. Welcome"

He grinned holding out his hand

"I'm Simon, also known as Alpha on the field. I'm sure it will be a pleasure working with you and whatever skills you may bring to the team"

Tommy gave a weak nod to her, but he still wasn't sure, these men all did things that required improbable amounts of strength, Tommy knew he was strong but he didn't think he was that strong. But Katie's comment about the bullet to the head made him remember, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the slug, the same-one he had been shot with earlier. He showed it to Katie before putting oh his section of the wall, embedding it in the dry-wall somewhat so it stuck. It didn't completely wash away his feeling of inadequacy, but it's a step he thought.

He gave Katie a note,
Code:
Alright, let's get out of here, I think I smell food.
. He then began making his way out of the museum, as he turned he also saw Alpha, he smiled and gave Alpha a note.
Code:
Glad to meet you I'm Tommy Stitch AKA Golem, can we talk more over whatever is for lunch?

Simon nodded

"Well, whatever you make is for lunch Tommy. I think there may be some stir fry left but the kitchen is always stocked with a fine assortment of foods and the like..."

He trailed off and stopped, turning to Tommy with a strange expression on his face

"Not to be rude or anything...but you can hear me right? Its not like your mute AND deaf is it?"

Fuck! Why was he always so stupid in these situations?!

To answer your questions Cap:
1. That's fine to have the Wall of Might.
2. The Society of Justice has been going on for almost 75 years (future celebration when it hits 75? Definitely) and has been broken up into four generations: 1st gen (Years 1-30), 2nd Gen (Years 31-50), 3rd Generation (51-70), and the current Fourth Gen (Years 71-74). The Museum itself is broken up into large sections of each generation (each generation exhibit has weapons/vehicles/those who have fallen/arch enemies/victories/etc in their wing).
If you want to know more ask Garrus, he spends a ridiculous amount of time in the museum.

"Damn it's getting late. Time flies eh?" Garrus asked to no one in particular in the lounge, looking for any movies on now that his show was over, "I think I'll go to bed once I meet the new guy."

"He's probably getting a tour of the place before he turns in." Richard said as he finished looking through one file and beginning on the next.
