Richard saw someone standing out in front of the promenade. He figured at this time of night it had to be the new guy. He walked up to him and shook his hand.
"Richard Masterson, AKA," he shuddered and pressed the name out "Blue Steel." He quickly composed himself.

Richard Masterson? Well that explains the ludicrous amounts of money these guys have. To answer their questions Tommy nodded yes, then he produced a small notepad and an ornately carved pen. The moment he put the pen to the pad a message instantly appeared. Tommy held the message out to them, it read:

That will probably take an extra half day, if that isn't too much of a bother. I can give you the vehicles now however, I'm sure Cillian can wait." He said as he fished out the keys to what was going to be his Ferrari and Kawasaki out of his pocket and handing them over to Tommy.
"Feel free to modify the car or bike in any way you wish. I'll be happy to pay for it." He said as he already pulled out his cellphone to update the satellite for another connection and send another communicator.

After promptly smacking Aaron upside the head for ruining their moment, Jason and Katie walked over to Rich and Tommy.
"So, I see that Tommy beat us here." Jason said in a joking tone.
"Did he tell you how we saved him earlier today? As it turns out, Katie did most of the work. She did surprizingly well for her first mission." He said to Rich.

"Well he didn't exactly tell me anything Jason, he appears to be rather mute." Richard said jokingly after getting off the phone.
"But I'm not surprised at Katie's power. A command over the natural world is something to be respected or feared, depending on which side of said powers you happen to be. You'll probably have to tell me what happened though, and if the communicators worked as well as I hope they do. If they don't, I'll have to get them replaced immediately." Richard said as he turned to look at Jason. He leaned in before speaking quietly.
"And I have also noticed that you seem to be rather taken by her. Don't think your little display and chaste looks have gone unnoticed, good news is, she seems to be more than receptive."

Tommy took a moment too admire his knew car and bike, Jason had told him they all got one but that still didn't prepare him for this. This is so F'ing sick! He thought to himself. Tommy then noticed Jason he gave a note to Richard That's right and they did a great job, I mean I still got shot but they probably knew I was invulnerable.
At Jason's words, Katie blushed from slight embarrassment. "Shush, you. All I did was knock the guy out. You could have done the same in my place," she said, harmlessly hitting Jason's arm. Behind her modest words, though, she felt a little rush of... something when he complimented her abilities.
Richard patted Jason on the shoulder as he moved back when Aaron came over. He looked at the note Tommy gave him before laughing.
"That, I doubt. You probably just got lucky there Tommy. I can almost see their reaction, and I don't think they happen to be professional actors in their spare time." He finished before chuckling a few more times and handing the note back.

"Richard!" yelled Patriot as he quickly flew down next to them, breaking the tiles beneath him. He brushed his feet to get some dust off and handed a large bunch of papers to Richard. "There you go got it for you. Hand delivered and all. Need to get back to the office, lots to do. Oh I see it's your new teammate! Welcome aboard son, I trust that you will preserve justice like the rest of these fine young adults," Patriot said as he shook Tommy's hand, "Wish I could stay but I need to get back to work."

"Need to make sure some very sensitive information has the proper protections by our government. Well now, it was nice to meet you Tommy, sorry Aaron, and Good luck Jason. Now, if you will excuse me." Richard said before beginning to head back into the promenade before shouting over his shoulder.
"Oh and Tommy, if it turns out they don't have a place for you and you don't mind a skylight made by Patriot, you can bunk in my room for the time. I'll probably be up most of the night anyway, and I can find somewhere else to sleep. I doubt the couch would work out too well for you." He shouted over his shoulder as he walked back inside.

"It's that obvious, huh?" He said, walking past Aaron with his many bags.

Richard walked back inside the promenade, walking by the kitchen as he went back to the lounge to look over the documents. He wasn't about to read the documents by moon or candlelight, and patriot had destroyed the light in his room when he flew through it. He overheard Garrus as he cooked. He shouted as he walked by.
"Most of us are out front! Jason has returned and has the hots for Katie. She returns the feelings, but they are both oblivious. Going to be looking over these documents in the lounge, probably won't be eating until later. Figured you would want to know both of those things." After shouting to Garrus he moved to sit on the couch in the lounge, setting the folders down and the table and beginning to look through them.
