The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

"Now is not the time to argue Aaron!" Richard shouted at Aaron in a fit of fury.

"So I suggest unless you can take a bullet from an assault rifle and keep walking, you freeze the fucking wood and try to keep your dick in your pants! We have already had thousands of people die today, and many more will because of me. I sure as hell am not about to let anyone else die today, especially because of your unfathomable desire to risk your life just because you want a fight." Richard continued as bullets near continuously hit his armor. He fired back, but there were far more of them, and the longer they stayed in there, the better the chance got that one of them was going to end up dead.

 

[Souldemon8]

"One I already dealt with the fucking wood and two do you see any vital organs here," Aaron pointed to his frozen body,"I can handle it. Don't worry."

"Aaron, listen to me for once." Richard said after having cleared the immediate area.

"If you walk around with ice as armor, they will open fire. If you die, that is one more pointless fucking death today. If we just lock these fuckers back in the prison like we are doing, we can actually go the hell home. If you want a fight, let's get back to base and I will fight you. Every fight comes with a chance of death in an uncontrolled environment. You are not invincible, you are not unbeatable, now don't roll the dice today." Richard attempted to reason with him.

Aaron sighed and looked back up at Richard.

"I guess you're right. I'll head back home though I still want that fight."

"By home I meant the promenade, and fine." Richard said.

 

[Souldemon8]

Aaron made his way out though before he left he turned and his eyes lit up,"I gave some of them a little "cold" that should make your job a little easier. Don't say I never did anything for you."

"I'm not about to fight them. I just want new walls of ice and wood, so I can go home. They will waste their bullets trying to shoot their way out." Richard said.

 

[Souldemon8]

"You're no fun," Aaron made his way out and left Rich to deal with the situation.

Aaron made his way to a nearby White Castle and decided to buy lunch for the team. When he made it back to the Promenade handing the bags to Garrus and Jason before putting the T.V. back on the wall and grabbed the remote.

 

[tsatoma]

"White Castle!?!? I want fucking McDonalds!" Garrus yelled in anger, going into the kitchen to make himself something.

"Ohhh, thanks a lo-...this food is cold," Patriot said looking through the bags.
"Probably because it's Aaron...or because he had to go into one of the neighbouring cities to pick up food," Garrus yelled from the kitchen.

Aaron took a sip of his soda and grabbed a burger.

"Well it seems that White Castle was the only placed that was open after a EARTHQUAKE!!!" Aaron shouted towards the kitchen.

He then turned to Patriot,"Sorry bout it being cold I tried to keep it warm."

Jason was equally frustrated as Garrus.

"I don't give a fuck! These little shits won't fill me up! I want a man's burger! A double quarter pounder with fuckin cheese!" Jason ranted, stuffing several of the minuscule burgers in the mircowave.

"Now go out, and find a open McDonalds!!" He exclaimed as the mircowave stopped with a subtle ding.

 

[Souldemon8]

"You know what..,"Aaron was about to punch Jason square in the face before stopping himself.

He picked up 2 of the burgers froze them and threw them at Jason and Garrus.

Garrus caught his and threw it back. "I'll just make a sandwich," he grumbled, getting out peanut butter and jelly and making one.

"You know these aren't half bad cold," Patriot said as he started eating the twelve or so burgers he had claimed for himself.

Richard had made his way back to the promenade after the the prison walls were made with Katie. He heard Patriot and walked into the kitchen.

"Patriot, I need you and Cillian to meet with me in five minutes. If Garrus and everyone else wants to come along they can, but I need a representative of the US government, the Society, and myself representing my company to discuss what has happened today and how we are going to respond. These are going to need to be classified and completely confidential, we have an extremely serious situation that has occurred and another even more serious that is brewing and we need to have some kind of plan." Richard said.

Jason easily dodged the frozen burger, almost watching shatter on the wall behind him, but decided not to retaliate.

"You're lucky i'm hungry, or would've shoved these down your damn throat." Jason said to Aaron, taking his burgers out of the microwave.

"And clean up your mess." He says with a full mouth while pointing at the shattered remains of the burger.

"Well I believe that Cillian will be working still with the police, but I don't have a problem going. I was actually going to order a meeting when everyone was finished," Patriot replied, watching as Garrus took a seat next to him.

"I don't have a problem going. Would I be needed though? Don't want to be more of a problem or anything," Garrus said.

 

[Souldemon8]

"Well personally I'm done for the time being," Aaron stretched,"I'm going to bed. Wake me if you need me."

"I need someone to represent the society who isn't myself or Patriot. I need to be able to know none of us are going to be conflicted in our ideas by working with two sides. If I take the side of the Society and my company or Patriot is for the Society and the US government, our opinions will basically be compromised. If you think of what is best mostly for the society while still being conscious of the other sides, then you will do fine Garrus." Richard replied to him.

"And good to see you are on top of this Patriot." he added as an after thought.

 

[CounterAttack]

After finding the last escaped prisoner and trapping him in the bark of one of the trees she had grown, Katie rode back to the Promenade and spent some time regrowing the gardens from memory, transferring the plants she wore to the ruined landscape. Within three hours, the gardens were almost exactly the way they had looked before the quakes, but the ground was uneven and a few of the flowerbeds had been displaced by this.

Katie regrew the room she had constructed for her first night at the Promenade, dragged her suitcases inside and fell on the floor, exhausted by the constant use of her power over the course of the night. She fell asleep within moments.

"Ah yes thank you Rich," Patriot replied cheerfully, finishing up his meal.

"Alright then I'll go. I'll try not to do anything bad," Garrus replied, "Just let me finish eating."
