"We still have no clue where the hell they are. Hell if we did find out where they operated I bet we'd get our asses handed to us," Garrus said as he looked over at the security guard.
"Anything odd happen at all today?" he asked.
"Not much, sir. I mean, today there were a lot of 'odd' instances during the whole day. Doors opening and closing randomly, things being switched around, more like people pulling off pranks than anything," the guard replied.
"Listen to that! He was toying with them the whole day! He was here for hours just toying around with people before stealing the info," Garrus exclaimed.

"Garrus is right. We don't know where the hell they are, and we know nothing of their powers. The best course of action is to remain on the defense and learn more about our enemy. Right now, they hold all the cards, all we can do is try and hold out for a better hand. I don't like it, but it is all we have." Richard said.
Jason pressed his back against the wall, and slumped down the ground.
"Dammit. You're right. Both of you. It'll be like jumping headfirst into the dark." Jason said, a hint a defeat in his voice.
Even with his armor on, at this point, Jason felt vulnerable.
"Who knows when these guys will attack next? What would we be able to do?" Jason thought to himself.

Katie moved over to Jason, and looked down at him. She could see the defeatist expression on his face. "Hey, don't look so down," she said to try and reassure him. "If you give up, you're basically giving the Union the freedom to do what they want, without anyone to oppose them. Right now all we can do is to wait for them to make the next move, and then we react to it. Eventually they'll slip up, and we'll crush them as soon as they do." She smiled, liking her way of thinking, but also to give Jason a confidence boost.
"So that's what we'll do then. We wait for them to move, and then hopefully from there we can strike back. Are we needed here any longer? If not then I'd say we should head back over to Nova and continue helping out," Garrus said to everyone, wanting to leave as quickly as possible.

Currently working on actually drawing the damn hero spread, it's going kinda well...I should have thought out the poses better and maybe should have made an extra page but oh well it'll get done within the week (maybe).
Jason looked up to Katie, returning her smile with one of his.
"Thank you...Katie. Don't know what i'd do without you." He says, rising to his feet.
"But the prison break should be controlled and contained by now. Think there's any other jobs for me to do?" Jason asked Garrus.

"Before Richard called us all here, I was rounding up escaped prisoners," Katie answered. "There were three of them before you turned up at the prison, but I got two of them. I'll hunt the last one down before I do anything else; we can't have a convicted man running loose in our city, can we?" She smiled at that before pulling her hood over her face.
Aaron sighed,"I'll guess I'll go back and deal with the rest of the fires. Katie if I'm done early I'll help you track down that last guy. It sounds way more interesting then playing firefighter."
"Well, it shouldn't be a problem for the both of us," Katie said. "I'd help you guys out, but I'd be more of a hindrance than a help in a fire. Anyway, shall we get going?" She made for the door.
"Alright I'll contact you when I'm done," Aaron said getting a running start then sliding back into the heat of the city.
"Let's head back then everyone," Garrus said as everyone left the Pentagon, heading back to continue the work effort.

"Indeed. We'll be discussing it all once we're done here, and once Patriot gets back," Cillian replied.
"Yeah, alright. Gotcha. Yep," Garrus said going back to work.

Katie straddled her motorbike, reactivated her communicator, flashed everyone a quick smile and roared back the way she came, keeping a watchful eye under her hood for anyone in a prison uniform. The last escapee would probably have stopped to find a weapon to defend himself in case someone like her tried to apprehend him. So a prison uniform and most likely a gun.
On her return journey to Nova City, Katie saw no-one on the streets. She continued riding, though, intent on finding the last prisoner.
