The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

[Birras]

Birras awoke to find himself in a hospital, next to a man in critical condition. Several other doctors and nurses around him. They all simultaneously shouted at him,

"Doctor, this man is dying
Everyone else has stopped trying
You are his last and only chance
Now give him one last glance"

Moving on instinct, the confused doctor grabbed the man's chart,

"Went into cardiac arrest
Deep lacerations in the chest
Compound fracture of the cranium
And poisoning from uranium," he sang out. Birras checked the pulse monitors, the heart was faint and erratic, but still alive.

Pointing at various staff, he barked orders with purpose,
"Get the defibs,
brace his ribs
set the head!
Come on!He's almost dead!"
The defibrillator arrived. Birras tried in vain three times to regain stable heart activity, before the monitor let out a final tone. Tears of anger began to well in his normally neutral eyes as he began chest compressions.

The staff shrieked out
"Stop this, by god!
Doctor, stop this facade!
He's dead, he's gone.
Now, inform his spawn."

The solemn hospital workers parted ways to reveal a crying woman accompanied by two equally sad children.

Sorry about not posting yesterday, long story short, I thought I was being screwed with by a single insect, so I spent pretty much all day lying in wait for it. It made sense at the time. Is this alright for one of Leland's illusions? I had a hell of a time finding some of these rhymes, as you might be able to guess. Sad part is, I actually have a song already prepared for this RP, but it's more of the 'Fuck yeah, Seaking!' variety, not the 'You're in Hell' type.

It's no problem Birras, and yes you got it right. Also, not all lines need to rhyme. I guess some people just like to do it. *shrugs*

"Let's take it up a notch just a little bit more,
because quite honestly this is somewhat of a bore,"

Leland said, making the music darker and more frantic as he belted:

"Well I say, embrace the fear that I have wrought on you!
Embrace the fear - don't try to fight it
Embrace the fear - it only makes me want it more
Embrace the fear - don't try to entice me
Embrace the fear - anything else is just a bore
For your fears are what drives me
To be an evil being!"

And with that he laughed maniacally, exactly like the one from the Pentagon video.

Question one: I think Neil Patrick Harris, as in Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long-Blog. I just seems to match when I think of an affably evil villain doctor, who breaks into song. Question two (this part): It's fun, definitely fun, just a little hard to write compared to the rest because of the amount of work it takes to come up with rhymes and ways to toture Tommy, especially because Tommy doesn't sing (or does he??)

I'm imagining his singing voice to be similar to that of folk rock singer Voltaire, mainly because the song is reminding me quite a bit of the song 'When You're Evil'. Also, yes, I'm having very much fun. Not many RPs let me write short songs about doctors failing to save people from death.

Jason laid on that cold concrete floor, pondering on what to do about Drake.

"Well, I have a near-indestructible armor while you can form weapons from your blood. Yes, this is turning into quite the stalemate..." Jason said, casually and thoughtfully stroking his chin.

"Tell me Maxi Pad, if you slit your wrists or maybe your jugular vein, would they stop bleeding?" He asked.

"Dead people standing on the top of their grave,
The beast who will kill you instead of save.
The dark man spins all about into lies,
So sure of his power, surprised as he dies.

Crying in the darkness, into it we all must go,
Alone you drag others with such fear you know.
No one can save you from the darkness you do,

Aaron laid there practically freezing to death. He tried to use his powers though it was useless. Aaron wasn't going to talk because he hated singing. As the snow continued to pile up on him and the pressure increased.

Aaron tried to reach his pocket. Eventually he grabbed his swiss army knife and unfolded it to reveal a huge blade.

"If I die before I wake
I pray to lord my soul to take,"

Aaron jabbed the knife into his face and slowly drifted of into darkness.

"Illusions are Illusions, and that is just fact.
No matter what you should put me through, it is all an act.
The sights and sounds and things I feel
You may control, but not the truth of what is real.
Do your worst you shall see
will not give you the satisfaction of hearing me scream.
So cut me, stab me, run me through.
Can not force me to believe what is set forth by you." Richard said as he looked right at the saw. Absolutely no fear in his eyes.

Leland laughed at the turmoil and suffering going on in everyone's head. He went back to Richard, laughing as the saw started to slice through him.

"Oooooohhh, being evil,
It?s a rewarding job.
Allowed to stalk my prey, which I must confess
Is a great means of pay
Allowed to curse and corrupt,
All those who might oppose me!
And the tools I have been given,
To enact my damnable deeds! (oh!)
It?s no wonder I?m an evil be-"
"LELAND!"
"-ing. Two seconds please," Leland said after getting interrupted, leaving the illusion to see Garrus in front of him, "Gar-bear! Didn't think I'd be seeing you..."

"Shut it Leland. Get them out of this illusion now!" Garrus barked back, clearly not in the mood for Leland's games.
"And why should I exactly?"
"Because I just finished having lunch with mom and she wants you to stop," Garrus replied smugly. Leland tensed at this action, contemplating calling but deciding against it.
"Well you certainly wouldn't lie about that... Fine!" he said with a pout, dropping everyone's illusions.

Richard had his jaw clenched when he came out of the illusion. Gasping for breath when he was out.

"That's fucking it, I'm done. I'm leaving, none of you bastards are going to stop me. I don't even give a shit why Garrus is standing there with a smug expression looking at Leland. Something tells me you have something to do with our release Garrus, but right now I'm going to go back home."

 

[Birras]

The doctor roused from his illusion, his breathing uneasy with tears forming in his eyes, "Oh...dear god..."

Turning in early tonight, major test tomorrow.

As Aaron came out of his illusion and he came back to he immediatly sprang up and transformed his hand into a huge ice spike.

"I'm going to tear out your fucking throat," Aaron started to lunge at Leland though the table was in the way.

Leland nonchalantly tossed all the tables at Aaron with a wave of his hand, more interested in Garrus at the moment.

"So I guess that's where you were then, out at lunch with mum. Bet you left as soon as you got her to agree to what you wanted. Some son you are," Leland said to Garrus bitterly.
"Yeah I did, so what? I knew it would be the only way to keep you from having too much fun and killing everyone!" Garrus yelled back.
"Pfft, whatever," Leland said pouting, kicking at the ground.

 

[oathblade]

Khrys looked around blinking in confusion for a moment still looking at Aaron. She gasped as the ice appears and without thinking she reacted charging at him trying to knock Aaron back and down.
