The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

"Your last name is Bishop. Unless you are related on your mother's side, you aren't related to him. Bishop is an English last name, Sigmund Freud was a German in the 19th to 20th centuries. If you are related, your name should be more German." Richard replied. He spoke to Leland.

"I don't care if you torture him now. He seems to almost be ready for it, the way he's acting."

"Well actually it's my father's side and the fact is I changed my name when I was younger. It was a part of that whole rebellious age of life. Though I was just to lazy to change it back," Aaron explained.

 

[Pm0n3y]

"You seem to be a little hardheaded yourself." Jason answered Drake in a grim voice, absorbing the slashes, but ignoring the various cracks that were forming in the armor. It seemed that, the more Jason fought, the more his voice disoriented into to something deep and gravelly.

"Enough of this. I've grown bored of your attempts to defeat me." He said as Drake brought his blood-blade down upon him. In a flash, simplistically, Jason (if the person fighting was Jason anymore) drives his fist into Drake's neck, feeling his adam's apple crush against his fist. Immediately after, he sends a flurry of punches towards Drake's chest, before uppercutting the villain in the chin. Composite Jason turns away from the villain, leaving him to revel in his own pain.

"It was fun, fighting without restraint for once. Now if you'll excuse me, I think i'm gonna go beat the shit out of your good friend, Dr. Broadway." He says to Husk before casually making his way back toward the McDonalds.

"Alright then. I guess that explains it. Good job being family to a cocaine addicted sex freak. Now Bandura and Skinner, those are psychologists who actually had evidence to back their claims up." Richard said.

 

[Souldemon8]

"So how come a while back I read somewhere that Bandura was ranked as the fourth most-frequently cited psychologist of all time behind Sigmund Freud." Aaron took a sip of his water.

 

[tsatoma]

"Like your sorry ass punches do a thing to me," Drake said as he stood back up. The blood was taking on a life of it's own now, completely covering most of his upper torso. "And besides I think my boss is busy, about to have some fun with your friends. Would rather he not get mad at me," Drake said latching onto Jason's leg (the blood on his arm having extended) and throwing him down the street in the opposite direction.

"Because everyone likes the cocaine fueled ramblings of a madman. That and the fact you can't talk about psychology without mentioning Freud as he got it off the ground as a science. Citations don't mean he discovered the most, it just means people put something he said in a paper they wrote. Whether they agreed with him or not. Most of the actual discoveries of the mind were done by people other than Freud. The only evidence Freud had of anything he said was that he was Freud." Richard replied.

Aaron turned to Leland," Can you hurry up and hit me with your magic mind thing. I don't think I can sit here and keep on talking to rich about psychologists. I'll go crazy."

Jason tumbled and bounced along the ground before flying into the grill of a speeding car. The forward momentum of the throw sends the boy rolling over the car, getting hit in every direction before landing flat on his back behind the car. The collision did nothing to Jason, but the armor was begin to take it's toll. Just then, Jason shook and scratched his head as if he was coming out of a trance.

"...What the-how'd I get outside?" He says before looking down at the battered, damaged armor.

"Shit, what the hell have I been doing?!" He says before looking up to find a guy coated in blood, steamrolling towards him. Jason narrowly dodges the attack, but still finds himself confused.

"Heyy...you're that guy that came with that "Broadway" bastard!" He says to Drake, completely oblivious to the fight that occurred before.

Oh, 'cuz that makes soooooo much sense.

"No shit amnesia boy," Drake replied, grabbing a hold of Jason and charging with him through a building.

"I'll start it in a sec, I'm still working things around in my own head. I want to make this as perfect as possible," Leland replied, watching the match with interest.

"Good to know we at least garner a non halfhearted attempt. You wouldn't believe what those robbers thought would stop me. Bastards thought they could stick some grenades in a jacket and blow me to kingdom come. Nearly skinned him to learn they were trying to impress you people." Richard said as he simply laid one leg over the other and sat back in the seat, simply waiting.

All the commotion and Khrys heard none of it glancing around she saw .. nothing. Everything seemed normal, disappointingly so. Even so her nerves were on edge. The handsome bastard was up to something.

Blood. So much blood. Getting in my eyes.

Disoriented. Where...am I going? Moving slowly?

Collapsing on the carpet. Carpet? Home?

Simon didn't even feel the impact of the carpet as he fell onto it. Everything seemed dimmed or dulled, like he was drunk...but without the fun.

He crawled forward looking for signs of where he had teleported too. Bringing a tingling hand to his face, he wiped some blood away from his eyes in order to get a better look around.

The familiar dining room and lounge was all he needed to see...the Promenade...

"Guys...I really screwed up"

He managed to choke out before he slipped into darkness

"Shit, the armor won't be able to take anymore damage if I keep this up..." Jason thought, not really paying attention to the fact the he was being used as a battering ram.

"It's time to play smart!" He prematurely exclaims, slipping out of Drake's grasp before landing behind him.

"Hey Maxi Pad! Try and catch me!" He yells at him, before jumping onto a nearby roof. He bolts in the opposite direction, in hopes to distance himself from the villain.

"Just need the armor to heal a bit..." He says, picking up in speed.

Alright we're doing it live~!

Drake cursed at Jason as he chased after him, wrecking the building as he climbed and followed him.

Leland clicked his tongue a few times before a wide smile appeared. "Alright I think I've got it perfect," he said as he stood up and tossed the table aside with a wave of his hand. Those at the table (except Katie) were pushed back and out of their seats.

Some synth and strings started up in a simple tune initially, slowly building up as drums were brought in. To those in the illusion they saw everything black, with everything being outlined in almost black-lit colors.

"Well now here we are with the fun about to begin
Let's see exactly what you've all been hiding in,
Your fears will expel themselves and wrap all around you!
And you want to know why I do this!?
Why it's because I'm an evil being~~!"

Leland sang, the music pausing for a second before going full blast at everyone. Bass and drums pounding away as they synths and string took the lead, with Leland moving to the beat.

Shit's just hit the fan boys and girls. If you care about who Leland sounds like I've always imagined that he'd sound quite like Serj Tankian (System of a Down).

Why does it feel like I'm trapped in hell?
Ah damn, now this guy has me speaking in song.
Damn it Leland, this is truly wrong!" Richard said almost blandly except for the last line.

I'm assuming Katie is unaffected by Leland's newest spell. If she is, then I'll edit as necessary.

Katie tried to resist Leland's curse, but found she couldn't move; complete paralysis. Not even a finger responded to the orders she was practically screaming at herself. All she could move was her eyes, frantically looking around the place, her expression still frozen into a face of dislike. She couldn't hear anything; maybe it was a side-effect. She screamed out in her mind, in need of release from her invisible bonds.

She's exempt from being forced to sing and being on an acid trip.

Leland looked over at Katie and sighed, leaving everyone in an interlude so he could chat. He allowed her to hear and move her head with a wave of his hand before telling her, "Look. I know you're going to cause problems. Either for me or you're going to go after your boyfriend and...well actually not sure if he needs help. He seems to be doing a good job of trying to kill Drake. Scary. And yes, you can talk now. But please, no screaming. It won't help you in the least. Anything before I get back to work?"

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie's head snapped round to fix Leland with an icy stare. "Next time we meet, I'm going to trap you in the bark of a tree and leave you for a few years. It'll give you the idea of what you're doing to me," she said through clenched teeth. "Now let me go, Leland..."

This would be the perfect time for Leland to be a complete asshole and take advantage of Katie while she's paralyzed. XD
