Huh. There's so many proposals to help to so few requests for help. But, I must power forward, uninhibited by shame!

I'm currently translating <url=http://www32.atwiki.jp/fateuc/pages/13.html>a slightly extensive Japanese list <url=http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/950973/55553>into English. The Japanese, thus far, isn't a problem, but not everything on the page translates to English. I'm having especial problems with Gaelic and German translations.

If any who speaks German or Danish (or whatever language the Einzberns of Fate/Stay Night speak) could look at the following katakana transliterations of certain moves and take some guesses, I'd appreciate it. As is, these are my BS guesses.

Burst ability - AIZEN REEMU (Eizen reim?)
Halberd super - RIZEN GESHURAI DOREEN (Risen Geshrai Drain?)
Super armor - BETTEN VAISU (Betenveiss?)
EX Attack - DORAI UM RAIFU (Drai um Life?)

I guess while I'm at it, I could ask if anyone knows anything about Gaelic and runes...

Oh, I speak Farsi as a native, I've lived in Iran for a bit, wasn't born there, but my family is from there, so I can speak/read/write fluently.

In the event someone needs help in English, I'm your man.
Really? Me too.
Though I might need help with Spanish. (but not likely, I'm pretty much a savant for learning languages)

I studied Gaelic for a year at University, but it was a while ago now. I'd be happy to try and help though. Scottish Gaelic, by the way, can't help with the Irish stuff.

I'm learning Russian, and it'd be handy to have someone to ask questions to, since the grammar is really complicated, and occasionally I come across a word and don't understand why it's in a particular case or whatnot.

'Midlands' accent.
It's a fancy way of saying I don't have a recognizable accent.

I don't know Gaelic but what runes are you talking about? I know the fuþark rune system (the viking one)

I think that's the one I'm looking for. I was trying to transliterate Japanese katakana into rune names...

Oddly enough, I think I just found confirmation for some of my wild guesses: Thurisaz/þurisaz, Eihwaz, Ehwaz, and Uruz, and I think "isu" and "hagal" might be "isaz" and "hagalaz" (some things are spelled weirdly in Japanese). Still trying to figure out what KANO and TIIRU (kano and tyr?) are supposed to be.

You wouldn't happen to know what Ath nGabla is, would you?

Fehu, Uruz, Thurisaz, Ansuz, Raidho and Kaunaz are the first six runes
next five are hagalaz, naudiz, ísaz, *don't know this one*, sævelö
last five are tíwaz, berkanan, mannaz, laguz and I don't remember the last one.
But Athn might be Ansuz, Kano is probably Kaunaz and Tiiru is tíwaz which is also known as Týr. No idea what Gabla is but my guess is that it should be written Gafla hmmm

Let me see if I can't find a book (I own one just don't know exactly where it is) on the elder fuþark that was only the younger. The elder has 24 letters but the younger only 16. I'll also see if I can't dig up something on the two missing runes.

Some more info the norse names of the runes are
first 6: Fe(should be a ' over the e but the site won't show the letter)(this one is also called Freyr), Úr, Þurs, Oss (again should be a ' over the O), Reið and Kaun
next: Hagall, nauð, ís, *blank* and sól
last: Týr, birki, maðr, lögr *blank*

Edit: Found the book here is the full elder fuþark:
Freys ætt: Fehu, Uruz, Þurisaz, Ansuz, Raiðo, Kano, Gebo, Wunjo.
Hagals ætt: Hagalaz, Nauþiz, Isa, Jera, Eihwaz, Perþ, Algiz, Sowulo
Týs ætt: Teiwaz, Berkana, Ehwaz, Mannaz, Laguz, Inguz, Oþila, Ðagaz.

If you need some more help just ask here or send me a pm.
