Alright, well. Female, Canada, 1990-94.IceP42 said:It means that no female of your age group from Canada made a list yet. You could be the first oneKonata Star said:Entering my demographic (Female, Canada, 1990-1994) gave no results. I suppose they haven't done one for every combination yet.![]()
This is why we don't let girls vote.Konata Star said:#8. Pokemon Snap
I hear ya on that, and maybe we're biased, but I'd agree that even the games on the list that I didn't care for I'd still count as good games and like you said "important."HapexIndustries said:Same demographic. I'm not saying that those are my favorite games ever, because some of them are not (however, some of them are: LttP, Ocarina, FF6, Super Metroid, Castlevania). All of them, though, are dear to my heart and important to the larger evolution of videogames. And of course, my semi-emotional reaction to this is the result of most of these games coming out when I was in my youth and established forever certain benchmarks in advancement and quality. So, yeah, there's that. And call me an asshole but I think every single one of the games on that list is actually "important" in a greater sense. Which means it was awesome being a teen in the 90s, basically.smv1172 said:I'll hope it never comes to that, are you the same demographic as me or are you different demog with same list?
No, I dont like them too.Tax_Document said:Am I the only one who thought Zelda was a really bad series?

Yeah, this. Final Fantasy IX, Pokemon Gold and Mass Effect 2 are three of my top 10 best games ever so that's accurate. I also love Ocarina Of Time (though preferred Wind Waker, another of my own top 10) and Oblivion, FFX and SMG are also up there. The only games I've only ever liked rather than loved are the top 3. True, Troika was surely the last the dedicated PC gamestudio (not counting the indy scene and some smaller studios in eastern europe). They are among the great SSI, Sir-Tech and Microprose in my list. Even though their games were buggy as hell when released, you could be sure it wasn't some crap of the ever growing dumbed down fast food games market...The Gnome King said:I miss Troika games. Pretty much everything they published, I loved. Temple of Elemental Evil was one of the best adaptations of a 3.5 edition D&D rule-set to a PC game that I have ever seen. I miss turned based, non twitch combat.
I found it particularly unappeallingTax_Document said:Am I the only one who thought Zelda was a really bad series?

Same here, which is interesting. Outside of just a couple games this basically reads like my own top 10 list. I guess I don't have as niche of tastes as I thought.smv1172 said:Male, '80-'84, USA
1. Final Fantasy VI (Is this III?)
2. TLoZ: link to the past
3. Chrono Trigger
4. Super Metroid
5. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
6. Super Mario Bros. 3
7. Final Fantasy VII
8. Final Fantasy Tactics
9. Half-Life 2
10. tLoZ: Ocarina of Time
I really liked 1,2,3,5,7,8, & 9. Felt indifferent to 4 and 10, and really didn't care for 6
So all in all not bad, not what I would have put as my top ten, but surprising as it just had three fields to trim down the demographic.
