Mine was Male, UK, 1995.
1) Fallout 3. Fitting.
2) Oblivion. Fuck off...
3) Morrowind. Also fuck off...
4) Minecraft. Good, but not nearly in the top ten.
5) SW: Battlefront 2. OH YES.
6) Bad Company 2. Top ten, but not that high up...
7) Spore. No.
8) Age of Empires 3. Also no.
9) Fallout: New Vegas. NOOOOOOO.
10) Rome: Total War. In the top 20, but not top 10 for me.

The next 10 had stuff liek Red Faction Guerrilla, Ratchet and Clanks 1-2, CoD4, WoW, and RDR, which I think should be higher, but hey, the thing was pretty wrong a good 2/3rds of the time.

That's kinda crap the way they segregate the demographics.... I mean I'm an older gamer (30) and most of my favourite games came out in the last 3 years. Being older doesn't mean you don't enjoy newer games more than older ones.

Still, it's nice to see A Link To The Past get such high praise :)

Alarming to see a lack of COD4 on any of these lists though.

Male, All countries (my country wasn't listed =/), born between 1985-1989.

This list was way too console-centric for me. I've never really been much of a console player.

1. The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time - Haven't played it. Not really interested in Zelda games either.

2. Final fantasy VII - Haven't played it. Not really interested in JRPGs.

3. Chrono trigger - See FF VII

4. Half life 2 - Have played it and liked it.

5. Final fantasy X - See FF VII

6. Resident evil 4 - It was ok. Played it on the Wii.

7. Metal gear solid - Never played it. Not really interested.

8. Metal gear solid 3: Snake eater - See Metal gear solid.

9. Poral - Played it and liked it.

10. Shadow of the colossus - Haven't played it. Not interested.

Female, 1985-1985, UK

1. Fallout 3
2. LoZ: Ocarina of time
3. System shock 2
4. Doom II: Hell on earth
5. LoZ: Majora's mask
6. Deus Ex
7. Quake II
8. Mass Effect 2
9. X-Com UFO defense
10. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the patriots

They are alright I suppose. Only Majora's mask is in my own personal top 10 but I can't complain, even though I don't have a clue what "X-Com UFO defense" is, I have never heard of it.

CoD4 is ranked 49th [http://www.unikgamer.com/games/call-of-duty-4-modern-warfare-6.html] which is pretty damn good if you ask me.

As for your demographics, it just a combined list of what other gamers 'like you' tends to like in general. You are of course free to like recent games. Your demog list will probably change if you make your own.

True. But these lists only shows how the members of the site voted and apparently the members within your age group tends to praise older games highly. If you want to change this trend then maybe you should join the site yourself? ;)

Personally I think it's pretty cool that you can see what other people that belongs to the same age group as you likes/dislikes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-COM

It's a classic turn based strategy PC game. You basically control an organization that protects Earth from alien invaders. You research stuff, kill aliens, build bases, try to maintain a decent economy, hire soldiers/staff to man your bases e.t.c.

Male-UK-1994

1. Halflife 2 (Didn't care for it to be honest)
2. Uncharted 2 (Words can't describe my hatred for this series)
3. Portal (Brilliant game though I would put it at around 7ish)
4. Final Fantasy x (Hmm, it was ok)
5. Oblivion (Never really gave it a decent go, but I think fallout 3 should have beaten it)
6. Mario Galaxy (Decent Platformer, but Mario 64 is better and LBP is better than both ^^)
7. Ocarina of time (Never really gave it a decent go)
8. Final Fantasy 4 (Never even played on it)
9. Pokemon gold and silver (Never really got into pokemon)
10. Mass effect 2 (......why wasn't this higher, such an awesome game!)

And one of my fave games of all time.... No.50.......wait what on earth?! How could Silent Hill 2 be number 50?! This thing has it all wrong!

I'm not going to go into the details but the only one from my personal faves was
#16 - Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

In fact, most of the 10 through 20 range I consider better than the top half.

Male, Canada, 1985-1989

1. Zelda: OoT
2. Chrono Trigger
3. Zelda: LttP
4. Super Mario Bros 3
5. Final Fantasy VII
6. Final Fantasy X
7. Goldeneye 007
8. Final Fantasy IX
9. Final Fantasy VI
10. Super Mario 64

I'm a bit shocked by the amount of Final Fantasy's in there. Apart from them and Chrono Trigger, these are all games I have played and liked very much as a kid; and as far as console games go, they're probably my favourites.

That said, my true top 10 would include only a handful of these (if any at all). Most of my favourites are much lower on the list: Baldur's Gate 2 (33), Morrowind (34), Neverwinter Nights (48), KotOR (53), Jedi Knight (98), Baldur's Gate (103), Warcraft III (130!!!). I've yet to see Tie Fighter and Warcraft II and I dare not go any further down the list at this point.

So I guess I pretty much loathe my demographic.
