The top 100 games of all time

A few things here.

First, his top ten has 2 Zeldas, 3 Marios, and 3 Metal Gears. Fanboy alert level one.

Also, how in the Burning Hells is the first God of War at the bottom of the list when II and III are in the top half? It's hardly even a debatable opinion that the original is the best one.

More than one Pokemon generation? They are all the same game! He took up three or four spots on one game!

Finally, he seems to have sort of just sat down and wrote whichever games he thought of, then forgot to organize them in any meaningful way. Hence the top half of the list being so homogenous.

So yeah, opinions are like assholes. I ignore most of them except mine.

I'm actually not going to claim it is, it just surprises me that people would vote more for the second than the far more playable third.
The UI in M2 is honestly a bit dirty and patches arent as good as the ones for M3.

I see that most people here reacted on the dominance of Nintendo games on that list. What caught my attention, was the bronze position.

Of all the non-Nintendo, non-MetalGear games, why Uncharted 2? I don't have anything against that game, but it just seems so off on that list.

Skyward Sword is present but Otogi: Myth of Demons is absent...? Admittedly, Otogi was easily missed but...I also object to Super Mario All-Stars being present when it's a compilation of 4 other games. Not JUST because it's a compilation but because 2 (or 3) the games it's made up of are also present on the list. Also I would have included Final Fantasy's 4 and 6 in there somewhere but that's just me personally.

Agreed, FF VI is by far my favourite FF game, the series went downhill pretty quickly after IX imo.

I liked X but to clarify, I borrowed it from a friend when it was new, forgot about it for a few years and, beat it last year after having been burned by 13. IX is probably my favorite of the numbered Final Fantasy titles but to discredit me, VIII is also in my top 5.

Tomb Raider (only played 3. it was so immersive. i'm sure there is a better one)

No one lives forever (my Most underated game!)

I have not played Thief yet, or dragon age origins. nor Half-life . Diablo is not my style. I can't get Kotor to work on damn windows 7 64bit. Never got a chance to play Zelda

Special note/ I just started playing the original deus ex last week. with the new vision mod (HD textures). 2/3's through it. I am in awe. I can't believe that game was made in 2000. It is incredible. Top 5 definitely....I know I haven't finished it but that set the standard.

Quite the crappy 100 list, even if you don't count the top 10 which is made almost entirely of Zelda titles...

You're entitled your own opinions but not your own facts. There's only one Zelda title in the top 10, which to me seems really low.

Good job to Radiant Dawn making the list, that game doesn't get the credit it deserves. I was shocked to not see Twilight Princess up there but I do respect this person's list, so there is nothing I can do for that.

I thought Twilight Princess to be the best Zelda game since Majora's Mask. Though I respect your opinion, I disagree, though I can see why you would think that Skyward Sword and Wind Waker would be better, the exploration factors were amazing. But I think the darker tone and epic feel was what the Zelda series need.

As you say it is all subjective but I guess I preferred the art style and storyline of Skyward Sword

Huh how can Super Mario Bros 3 be above Super Mario All Stars even though all stars actually contains Super Mario Bros 3 plus mario 1,2 and Lost levels it just makes no sense and thats before we even get to the obvious fact of All Stars being a compilation and in effect 4 games not one.

I agree with Soul Calibur being so high and but I believe it was the only fighting game on there seriously no SF2 in any iteration? wtf.

Still it has FFVII , Valkyria Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles on there so they got some right its just in the wrong order, I also disagree with Ocarina of time being top I dont even think its the best Zelda game tbh but each to their own.

Right im off to create the proper list and to annoy all of you by refusing to put your favourite games in there but at least we would have a definitive list then some would likely disagree with it but they would be wrong.
