Marcus eye'd the man, he looked old and weathered. This was a guy who'd been around the wastes. Nodding casually, Marcus spoke. "Well, Hunter, jumping in someones truck unannounced is a quick way to find yourself dead. Lucky for you, I'm in a good mood." Marcus laughed as he turned around again, holstering his pistol. He gripped the steering wheel and the truck began to slowly trundle across the old rickety bridge.

Ashe watched from Ford's truck as she saw the stranger hop on the back of the truck. Seeing as he wasn't shot the first few moments that he was on Ashe assumed that all was well. Ashe sank back down and looked to Deltrath.

"Looks like we have another guest on this trip...."

"More food when he falls" Delrath replies gruffly unimpressed by the newcomer, Some wasteland hunter, I'll show him the true hunt Delrath thought.

Ian smiled a shark like grin at the back of Marcus' head, "A well calculated risk that I'm willing to take." He turned his grin on the Kalorik, "As for you, murderer, you'll eventually find out that I am not easy prey. I know your kind, killed a few myself," Ian leaned back in his seat, the grin fading from his face, "But we can save that for the future, right now we can begin discussing my work and payment."

Delrath bared his teeth "You kill them, they are weak, Useless. I strong" Delrath growled slamming his fist into his chest I would rather ally myself with Mortis than this Hunter

Mortis returned the vial and needle back to it's rightful place when his coat and jacket were returned to him. The man was rash, assuming anything in the wastes was dangerous. His choice to jump in the back of the truck displayed either a great degree of courage or a great deal of stupidity. It was going to be a long ride so Mortis had decided he might as well decipher which.

Mortis pulled his fish scale cloak tight around him, preparing for the infamous corrosive rains once they arrived. He reached into the pocket of the coat and found his small box still secured, Mortis was familiar with thieves and losing this was not an option.

"Hunter, Name or Profession?" Mortis queried cheerily.

"As far as you need to know, it is both. I would also like to extend an apologie to you all about my rather rash act of jumping in the back of your truck. I have been stuck in that backwater town for a while now with no work and not enough supplies to strike out for the next town. As outsiders I assumed you had work for me and either information, supplies, or money to pay me with." Ian moved his hand away from his holstered weapon. He propped his rifle up carefully beside him and opened his pack. He began taking out his extra magazines, knifes, machete and binoculars, and proceed to attach them to his belt.

Marcus shifted gears as the truck exited the small fishing village and hit the crumbled old asphalt. The distant storm clouds were coming ever closer, falling off the mountains and just hitting the plains, maybe ten or more miles away. The clouds were heavy and dark looking, the sun was quickly swallowed by the clouds. "Looks like this is gunna hit us bad, anyone got an idea of which way we needa look?" Said Marcus, looking worryingly at the clouds.
A hiss of static came from the radio as Ford spoke. "We're 'sposed to go North, it crashed somewhere up river from the landin'"

From what Ashe could see, the vegetation seems to breath a little life into the dreary wasteland. There were a few bushes and cacti popping up. The bumping as the trucks rolled on through were a sign that there were still rocks beneath them. No matter how many people try keeping the roads flat, they always end up rocky and even mountainous at some times. Ashe then dug into her bag to fetch her binoculars. As she scanned the horizon hills began to roll from the flat plains.

"Hey, is this the place?" Ashe said aloud hoping to get the attention of the drivers.

Mortis overheard his "companion by duress" shout something aloud from the other truck. When Mortis peered in her direction he saw her seated adjacent to 'The Beast' with binoculars in hand. Mortis concluded that this meant that they had finally found our destination and that their freedom was imminent.

Mortis quietly ran through different scenarios in his head of how this little adventure would end. Would Balthazaar keep his end of the promise? Would this 'airship' be guarded? And most exciting of all, Would the idiotic beast that had attacked him earlier attempt to finish the job? Mortis was giddy with excitement.

"Do you have a clear visual?"

Kreth finally woke up from the deep slumber he had feel into. He needed his rest or else his body would refuse to work at peak performance. He quickly realized the truck he was in was moving. As he looked around the truck he noticed a face he didn't recognize. Kreth glanced around, but seeing that no one else was giving the stranger much attention, he figured he shouldn't bother. The man must have joined when he was asleep.

While glancing around though, he noticed that the group was looking off into the landscape. They must be close to the downed airship. Kreth turned and looked out of the truck to see if he could see anything. What he noticed rather quickly was the large hill that was in the distance. It looked pretty big as well as rather... round.

Pointing towards it, he asks the others: "Is that what we are looking for? It doesn't look normal."

(Hey guys may I join/reserve? I'll post a sheet)

Name: Shaun Pittman (Yet another version of me, hope thats ok with you guys)

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Type: GUARDIANS
When Shaun was a kid, his family was killed, "The Scientists" picked him up and raised him, this has made Shaun used to technology but while he was being raised he has also gone out into the Wasteland with his mentor and knows the ways of the wild. Shaun tries to preserve technology so it can be used for the greater good and tries anything so the technology lies in good hand.

Morality: Independent good,
Shaun was raised, not only by "The Scientists" but also by his mentor, his mentor who was a legendary Hitman in the wasteland, his name was Blake Dred, Blake raised Shaun from when his family was killed, "The Scientists" raised Shaun some part of his life teaching him about technology, but Blake taught Shaun about killing, living and surviving, but most of all he taught Shaun about how to lead his life for the greater good, to help people and to follow one of the old religion, "Christianity". Shaun acts only on the greater good but thinks that most of the left over government are evil and are not fit to lead the survivors.

Mutant Y/N: Yes
Pro: Electricity boost
Con: Water, Glowing eyes
(May change later)

Mutations (If applicable):
Minor electricity boost: Shaun has the power that if he touches a source of electricity he is able to activate a small boost to his strength, speed and reaction timing, but the bad thing about his power is that he cannot touch water and he has a blue tinge to his eyes.

Appearance: Medium Athletic build, 145 tall, 113 pounds, lightning blue glowing eyes, rugged long light brown hair, Cross tattoo on back of wrist.

Gear (Weapons/misc): Storm Cutter (A katana with a big backstory), Ebony and Irony (Two sleek silver custom made pistols), 6 bullets - three for each gun.

Other Items: Sling Shoulder Backpack (Think Infamous Cole's bag) full of stuff, Hidden Back pocket knife, lighter, bag of dice, wallet, bike keys, Personal bible, Journal ,emergency survival kit.

Clothing/Armor: Military Black Shoes, black military pants, military knee pads, bulletproof vest, smart green shirt , dog tags with a Christian cross (with details), computer watch (Which also functions as a radio, basically a pip-boy).

Profession: Former Security Guard

History of power:
Shaun was once a normal human before, this was after all the world turned to crap, he was a security guard and scavenger of a company of scientists from a saved city and he was scavenging one simple day, it was an electrical power station that was used by the scientists before the war to make super weapons or something, the funny part is that they did but all the weapons where all moved to somewhere else, how did Shaun know this, a damn computer that they left on, Shaun went into the next room, it was a room filled with electrical conduits, the worst part was that Shaun accidently pressed the button on the computer terminal to activate a fucking project: Origin, the room makes whatever inside the room turn into an electricity conduit, Shaun did notice it but it was all too late, the double armored doors locked behind him and the electricity conduits started to generate a mass amount of power, Shaun shut his eyes to not look at his demise and muttered "Shit" under his breath and then a massive power overcame him.

Funnily enough Shaun woke up with the white light above making him dizzy, Shaun thought nothing had happened, well thats is until he stepped outside into a damn puddle, and it almost killed him, but he quickly regained his energy by touching a nearby light switch, Shaun doesn't know what was going on, what power he has gained, what the hell water does to him, but he knows that this thing can grant him power.

Shaun then exits the building and walks slowly back towards his secret bunker that they did not know about and muttered "I need a drink" as he entered his hideout.

Background: Shaun was a little 12 year old boy who lived peacefully on a farm all a long time ago, it was nice and peaceful until bandits attacked the farming community, the bandits killed everyone, including Shaun's family, fortunately Shaun was playing a hay stack in the barn to be killed.

Shaun scavenged his house but only to be introduced to his family member's corpses, Shaun grabbed the fewest thing that mattered to him, it was a personal flask flask, a harmonica and a Katana that his farther gave him 5 years ago for his birthday and he has practiced everyday since then.

Shaun then walked along the long abandoned highway but only to pass out to due to lack of water, fortunately a scientist group came by him and carried him to their HQ where they groomed Shaun back to life and told him he can live he but only if he can do jobs for them later in his life, Shaun smiled and accepted their offer, he still practiced his sword skills, and he became a security guard and scavenger for them, he was one of their most trusted allied, they awarded him with two custom made pistols and he has also trained with those as well as his sword, all until the day he went to facility 0.

Personality:
Shaun. He likes to be called by his first name or by his two nicknames, Storm and Angel, Angel because his old security team used to call him that or Storm due to his skill with a katana.

You may look at this guy like he is some pissed off security guard, but truthfully he is actually a guy who is nice on the inside who tries to act like a funny ass who tries to brush problems off.

When people get to know him he becomes a nice, enthusiastic, good at talking to people, trusting, warm and fights for good and other people.
(Just tell me and ill see if I can change it)

Marcus peered out his window, this particular hill did seem to stand out. Overgrown with shrubs and other types of foliage, it rose a great height into the air. "I don't know, but it doesn't look like it's meant to be there. You wanna check it out?" Marcus said.

The sky was darkening, the clouds had reached them and in the distance a loud thunderous roar rang out across the wastes. Thunder. Then a flash of lightning. the storm was coming.

Mortis rose from his seat and slid open the stiff, grime-covered window. In what must have appeared to have been a most idiotic endeavor, he pulled himself out the window of the moving vehicle and swiftly traversed along the side to find his place in the passenger cockpit next to Marcus.

He rested in the metal cage listening to the resonating thrums coming from the engine beneath the machine. He turned to greet Marcus and wrapped the course fish scale cloak around him snugly.

"We need to talk, There is something very wrong." Mortis said pointing out towards the green monolith before them.

Marcus nodded acknowledgement of Mortis, not taking his eye's off of the storm. No matter what they wanted to do, getting to this, hill, was their only hope. The rain would eat through the trucks in a matter of hours.
"What's up?" Marcus inquired.

Mortis stared out into the black clouds where Marcus had transfixed his gaze. Nothing about this felt right. A moment passed between the two in what would have been silence were it not for the roaring engines.

"These parts are famous for their acid rains that eat through everything, the plains where nothing survives." Mortis' face still wore his trademark smile but his eye's betrayed unease.

"Then why is that hill alive? The clouds above it are dark enough to be spilling out and drowning that damnable eyesore."

Mortis let the words hang as his ludicrous conclusion spurred through his head

"I've seen plants like this before, However they weren't from the wastes. They were pictured in hidden folders in the deepest part of the labs from which I descended."

Confusion crept onto Marcus' features. "These plants are man made mutations like me and from what I remember of the details enscribed on the notes of the ancients. They were some sort of biological experiment deemed, hazardous."

"Mutant plants?" Delrath questioned, that seemed unlikely. Plant were useless, small, weak and tasteless. Why would anyone want to make such a weak thing stronger? Why not make a strong thing stronger. Delrath lightly cupped his head with his hands, thinking hurt, he needed to feel the blood pumping through his body as he tore through another, he would wear the faces of his enemies on his spikes and all would fear his wrath. "I can kill plant" Delrath concluded

Marcus steered the truck towards the hill, bumping over the rough terrain. Finally the truck reached the bottom of the hill. It seemed to break away from the ground at an old angle. Marcus looked out of the window and noticed that beneath the vegetation and shrubs, lay a heavy concrete wall. The hill was a dome. A massive, dome. He thought to himself, What would you keep inside of this? As he continued to drive the truck around, it soon came what looked like a village. A small, neatly trimmed path went between a small cluster of buildings. On one side lay two giant hangers and a smaller building, the other had two small huts. The path came from and lead away from the dome. As the truck chugged along, marcus pulled up just off the path, next to the dome. Behind a heavy mess of vines and weeds lay a massive military grade blast door.

Ashe got off the truck and cocked her shotgun as she scanned the area. The place, as ominous as it was, seemed much more ancient than intimidating. It had the mark of the ancients but the vegetation was odd to have in the middle of the vast wastes.

"We should search the buildings first... it might have a way to open those doors. I've seen these kinds of doors before and there's no going through these things." Ashe said. Her shotgun guided her eyes as wherever she turned her shotgun followed. It seems like there's no one nearby but Ashe didn't want to take any chances.
