We had almost no members but I kept the thing alive until a technicality prevented us from competing. It was actually quite fun, I had a good time being the red-headed step child of the election. I remember starting a thread that became better known than myself, "I Bet He's Cockney".
I remember playing in and winning the first two Ratings Wars. For my money their some of the best RP's on the site, slow though they are.
I remember writing for a short stint in Mscher's The Queen of Hearts, and talking with Qayin about the next instalment, Prince of Whispers or something. For those who aren't cool, Queen of Hearts is the most in depth and probably the longest RP on the site. The thing is a book. Oh, and Qayin was an RP'er who, while an excellent RP'er, couldn't tolerate the new escapist and doesn't post anymore.
For that matter, I remember when Mscher was announcing she wasn't going to post anymore. Actually, I remember when Ultrajoe was announcing that he intended to leave. I remeber Necro getting band and Mobius getting band and the Iron Ninja quitting because he didn't have any more to say and Werepossum stopping because there weren't enough conservatives on the site.
I remember my first god-mod, In Purplerain's "President mobius has been kidnapped by ninjas" thread.
