First of all, this is just to help you more than anything, [sub][sub][sub]Mostly[/sub][/sub][/sub]

You haven't exactly said what your augments are, just that he decided to stay short and that he has some, nothing really even suggesting your capabilities. If you're still trying to decide what it is, disregard this. If not, you may start being called G.S.(you start pulling special new things out of you ass, more or less), but since you're new here, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Just a warning, you may want to just say he constantly puts on a new coat of the blood(or he's extracted the essence of the tetanus) on the sword, because, and this is just me, I'd have your sword break within a few swings because you specifically said it was old and rusted.

You say he has poor hand-eye coordination, yet he has two guns for two different situations....

And to(maybe) help you with the aliens on the planet thing, you could change it to he was a part of a hierarchy where he was on one of the bottom rungs on a planet where the humans had adapted to a low gravity field and walked around in machines, which they also made into powerful weapons of war, which made a revolution very hard until your guy got his hands on the Hierarchs tech and sold it to the revolutionaries, which made him rich.

He then got his augments and was riding high for a bit before it all came crashing down(interest rates, money became worthless, adept burglars, etc.) because the new regime had no idea how to run a government and the old regime had either gotten off-world because they saw their impending doom and the ones that either stayed or were unable to leave were executed.

Name: Precis Armand

Age: 19, appears 9 (explained in augments and bio)

Gender: Female

Appearance: 3'11" and 70 lbs, Precis [http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=530229] has long brown hair that falls halfway down her back, but is usually held up in a ponytail, and her bangs part in such a way that they usually don't get in the way, but do on the occasional breeze. She has emerald green eyes and wears a blue short sleeved shirt with a gold stripe down the front and back, as well as gold around the collar, with a blue skirt with gold around the edge. Underneath, she wears a black, full-body skin-suit to help keep herself warm in colder environments, as well as gloves and boots for the same purpose. She also wears a tool belt, with various tools used for repairing damage to ships and electronics.

Augments: Due to an accident in her homeworld, almost her entire body was replaced with cybernetic augmentations. Her arms and legs were replaced with carbon fiber prosthetics and much of her internal organs had been replaced with a more 'efficient' replacement. Only her mind has been left untouched and even that has been secured inside of a reinforced shell. Because of all of her augmentations, she has increased strength, speed and perception, but a drawback is that she has essentially ceased in aging physically. She has the physical strength of a healthy, unaugmented young adult of about 20 or so, but she can still be overpowered by augmented humans. On the outside, she still looks like a normal girl, but on the inside she is more cyborg than human.

Equipment: On her tool-belt, she has numerous multi-tools that help her when she needs to make repairs, both to herself and to ships, and though she has no specialized weapons, many of them are sharp enough or pointed enough to be able to at least pierce through normal human skin.

Skills/Specialization: Precis had been 'saved' and indebted to the criminal organization 'Blue Phoenix', since an accident ten years ago that almost killed her, and since then they have forced her to work with them as both a runner for odd jobs, and an engineer for their ships when they returned with damage. Ever since the first day she was brought in, they had her learn more and more about engineering and how to repair numerous things, such as ship hulls, computers and other essentials. Her father had been a well known engineer, and his blood passed on to her as well because she soaked in all the knowledge like a sponge.

Personality: Despite being a slave to the Blue Phoenix gang, Precis still managed to hold onto her happy, but stubborn personality. Just like her late father, she has found a love for engineering, and tries her hardest to make everything the best to her abilities. She hates being interrupted during her work, and will usually start throwing random tools at whoever broke her 'rhythm'. Her captors allow this because of the quality of her work. Not to mention they get a kick out of it as well.

Homeworld: The planet Galatea is a medium sized planet with a population of roughly 16 billion and a geography much like Earth with the exception of there being much larger land masses, and water covers only 40% of the planet, rather than the 80% of Earth. The water on Galatea, however, is all drinkable water. There are twelve continents, each with their own different forms of culture and beliefs within them. The highest point on Galatea is a plateau that reaches roughly 40,000 feet above sea level, and is home to numerous cities. Above Galatea, a single moon, roughly the size of Earth, orbits the planet and is home to 1 billion.

Temperatures and climates vary from region to region, just like on Earth. Of the land, 80% is inhabitable, 15% is scorching desert and 5% is frozen arctic. Most of the continents enjoy a comfortable temperate climate while others near the waters enjoy a more humid, tropical setting. Flora and fauna are widespread, and while most are harmless, there are a few larger animals that take a fully armed and augmented soldier to take out, which prey upon anything that they can get their fangs and claws into.

The technological level of the planet is equal to most other modern planets, and many spaceports are found scattered across the lands. War, surprisingly enough, does not happen often and the lands are mostly at peace. This doesn't mean that the lands are peaceful and safe however. Most small cities have a relatively low crime rate, but the larger, more industrious areas have medium to high crime rates and it is rumored that there are some cities that are run by criminal organizations, with only figurehead leaders to trick the masses.

Here is the character, revised and described in the correct format:

:Name: Eart Frinkpenstien

Age: 198 years old
Gender: male

Appearance: Black skin and hair, about 6 feet, brown eyes, prefers colorful clothing that is up-to-date, but due to his limited resources, can only afford shitty hand-me-downs.

Augments: He was an early user of certain drugs and cybernetic enhancements which increased and improved the telomerase within his body, as he was once quite rich and powerful. He lost his political power eventually, made a variety of bad investments--short-selling, scams, technologies that were rendered obsolete by others that came out around the same time--and so spiraled into poverty. He still loved his life despite his failures, and wished to live as long as possible--but, in recent years, his enhancements have been breaking down, his body has been aging, and if he cannot evolve, he will die. He can regain his youth with enough technology, but he has far too little money for it.

His useful augmentation is a grappling hook: Good for quick escapes, getting to high points for reconnaissance, and accessing areas with large ground-based defenses. He can quickly analyze the area and see the best place to hook it and the proper vectors for the swing, which he gives to the augmentation so that it can fire the hook. Otherwise, he is mostly a Batman-style character, relying more on his wits and fighting skills than the technology.

Equipment: He uses a sword and small guns, but never sniper rifles--sniper rifles are easy and boring, and he prefers the visceral satisfaction of getting in close and filling his enemies with holes. His sword is dull, rusted and contaminated and occasionally soaked again with the blood of creatures who had developed a rare form of tetanus that resists immunizations--so that even if he dies, his opponent will die in a much worse manner. It is so rusty that the blade has basically been welded to the hilt by oxidation, and so it is very unlikely to break.

He uses two guns: One is small is and silenced--it will not attract attention if the enemies are more than 500-1,000 feet away, but it is weak and slow, and any body armor will stop the bullet. His other gun is big, heavy and powerful enough to put a hole in three men under the right circumstances--but it is awkward and hard to aim, and so loud that it will alert everyone for at least five miles. He can, when using the small gun straighten his arm by having the hook line attach to it and place his hand inside the hook to steady his aim, but the size of the large gun and the way he needs to hold it make that impossible when using it.

He uses a gas mask that can convert into an oxygen mask, which nearly bankrupted him when he bought it shortly before signing up for bounty hunter training. He needed a source of Atropine in case of nerve gas, but was out of resources, so he went to the woods and gathered some nightshade. He can use it as a source if he is careful, but it acts as a psychoactive deliriant, so if he survives the gas, he is going to spend three days in a violent, insane rampage.

Skills/Specialization: He is possessed of a complex scientific mind, one that probes all the depths of everything he sees. He is mechanically incompetent, but once someone else has removed and disassembled the object to be studied, he can experiment on it, find all its inner workings, and dissemble the information he finds, allowing him to take more than he deserves--though he prefers the lion's share. He has poor hand-eye coordination, so he prefers to focus on fighting and exploring, and leave the engineering, driving, drawing, structuring, etc. to others.

Personality: His social skills are poor, so he has trouble convincing others to listen to his ideas. He likes to play games, watch television and bloodsports--sometimes even on planets where such sports are illegal--study scientific journals, spy on others, and play sports.

Homeworld: A planet originally controlled by a powerful government whose technologies were far beyond those possessed by other societies, as the planet contained compounds which were not found elsewhere in the universe and which had unique properties. He was a high official in the government, and as the government was a cruel dictatorship, he did not need social skills, merely the ability to intimidate the citizens into submission. His natural scientific skills allowed him to use the planet's resources to create powerful weapons with which to subjugate the populace, and new forms of entertainment to amuse himself and his friends. Eventually, a bloody rebellion occurred, he and his fellow officials were forced out of office, and that began his downward spiral. Those rebels are now rebuilding their civilization, and their scientists are currently studying the technology to determine how to repair such awesomeness.

Sorry, this was my first time writing a Role-Playing Game character, and I actually was trying to avoid making him too powerful. Hopefully, this is a more reasonable version. I will send this to the creator of the game if it works.

Hey, fellas, keep the irrelevant discussion to a minimum, alright? I've got enought to sort and organize without additional clutter being added to the thread.

Anyway, I'm pushing the deadline back to Friday. A few people still owe me bios, so I'm going to give them a chance to send those out before I make any cuts. I'll have the sheets selected by Saturday and hopefully we'll start before the weekend is over.

If you want, I can keep the thread nice and tidy by deleting double posts and the like.
And I was hoping to find out if I had gotten a place, along with other people :(

What specifically would you like me to annihilate?
I got rid of one double post, might as well get rid of the one it was a double of seeing as an updated character sheet was a few posts after >.>

Deleting the older versions of every sheet that's been submitted multiple times would be nice.

Name: Kristina Jecht
Age: 29
Gender: Female

Appearance:

Kristina stands at around 6'2'' in height, and weighs around 140lbs. She has roughly shoulder length, light and dark grey hair, and will occasionally wear it in a ponytail. Her right eye is violet in colour, whilst her left is dark green, but both have cat like pupils. Her main form of attire is a dark red, military style coat, which has been reinforced with metal plating around the shoulders, chest, and ribs, and has been modified with a hood.

Augments: Has had some minor augmentations, to help increase her strength, running speed, and reaction times.

Equipment:

Kristina's most prized possession, and her most effective weapon, is a crossbow, that she has had, since the age of 13. During this time, she has become a master at its use, and has developed some custom bolts. It also has some sentimental value, seeing as it is one of the few items, that remain from her hunting community.

She also carries a sword, which is useful for when she needs a little close quarters combat, along with a pair of bracer mounted, retractable blades, for instances, when stealth and subtlety are required. Kristina also carries some non-combat orientated items, such as a grappling hook, and some basic medical items.

Skills/Specialization:

Being born as part of a hunting community, has gifted Kristina, with unnatural senses of sight, hearing, and smell. These make it easier to ascertain her targets location, the direction they were going in, and how far they went; it also allows her to help pick out the finer details of a scene. She is also capable in hand-to-hand, melee; whilst being more trained in her crossbow, she is good at handling fire arms, making her deadly at ranged.

Kristina also knows how to handle explosives, but doesn't necessarily carry them around with her at all times, aside from things like smoke bombs, and flash grenades; this hasn't exluded her from using more lethal items.

Personality:

Calm. Professional. Determined. Focused. These are words that describe Kristina well, and came as a result from her years in the hunting community she grew up in. After their annihilation, she developed a "lone wolf" persona, preferring at times, to simply be alone; but it doesn't me she hasn't forgotten the importance of team work. Both on and off assignments, she can be friendly, but doesn't tolerate fools, or people who mistreat others, that is when she gets a little angry.

Homeworld - Ajakis:

Presiding on the edge of the frontier, in the Aurora system, Ajakis's overall climate has a mixture of desert, grassland, and ocean climates - having people comment on its rather "Earth like" appearance. The overall population sits at around one to two billion, meaning that residents aren't pressed for space, and has allowed for focus on advancement, rather than expansion.

Its population, is split between those who live in the cities, and those who exist in hunting communities; but the two groups have had close ties, allowing for an ease in trading. Crime is somewhat existent, but exists mainly in a few bandit groups, who hide out in the less hospitable areas.

Sorry for the uber lateness of this character, with stuff that has being going on, I haven't had the time to work on a character sheet. If it means you are no longer accepting sheets Nukey, then I understand.

I have a quick question. What is the status of everyday electronics, like cell phones, TVs and comptuters? You mention in the technology box that tech was significantly push backed because of the great divide. But how much so?

It varies, although I guess it's safe to say that most forms of personal communication devices are clunky yet shockingly efficient. Everything is built to last and the majority of people are out to find the most durable product as opposed to the most stylish one, therefore everything has sort of an ugly, early 80's look.

Hand held, wireless cellphones exist, and most of them have screens in order to enable video communication, but they're rather big, and look kinda like those brick cellphones [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_DynaTAC] with a small screen in it.

Computers, TVs and other electronics also exist, though they're more available in some places than they are in others. On Novalisis (Nerin's homeworld), they're easy to find, with one being found in almost every living space. On the contrary, on agricultural or feudal worlds, it'd be damn near impossible to find one.

Accepted sheets are up and, due to the character limit, divided into two separate posts. Both are on the front page of the thread.

I've just got to get things together and then we'll have this show on the road.

Alright, starting time.

Everyone is free to do whatever they please to as of now, though, at the end of your first few posts, the majority of you should end up at the conference room in the Red Giant Cafe. I'm not going to be free to post until the weekend, mainly due to prom and whatnot.

[HEADING=1]
Episode One: Rebirth of the Silversword
[/HEADING]

A spiraling mass of polychromatic kinetic energy, firing bolts of neon thunder and glowing wisps of red plasma, circled around the Blackheart's flagship, the Silversword, as it exited hyperspace, a massive stream of golden light trailing close behind it as entered the space around Tanra Station. The moment it reentered real space, it's speed dramatically slowed, the vessel that was once moving faster than light now at a slow and steady crawl. Warning lights flashed out from the Silversword as it reached the docking bay, signaling that it was ready to land, grinding to a halt as it waited for an answer.

Nerin sat in the lounge room of his ship, his eyes glued to the window as he watched the docking process begin. It was a monotonous operation, not to mention a time consuming one, but for reasons that eluded his coworkers, he always wished to watch it whenever given the chance. Gira stood behind him, his arms folded, and appeared quite unimpressed. At the right of Gira, stood a cybernetic abomination, with a form housing countless artificial organs and several additional limbs, with no part of him free from mechanized components. The mechanical monstrosity of a man, Matarink Hiener, also seemed to be in something of a trance, though unlike Nerin, his eyes weren't focused on anything in particular, instead he stared into the void of space, in awe of it all.

It was on this occasion that Gira for once felt as though he was alone, and, although he had grown a liking to the other two, felt relaxed for the first time in his life. It was the silence, Gira thought, that made him so relaxed.

"Thirty minutes until landing..." Gira muttered. His words, although echoing throughout the lounge room, fell on deaf ears. "Then another hour to get to the conference room in that bar we rented, fifteen minutes to get the recruits to shut up and then approximately ten minutes of speaking followed by some dumb questions to be answered. After that, well, I suppose it's just gonna be another fuckin' job, right?"

There was, of course, no answer to be heard.

---

The interior of Tanra Station, by comparison, was nowhere near as quiet. The hum of starship engines blasted throughout the docking areas, and the constant shouting of assorted miscreants and mercenaries echoed in the overly crowded hallways, making it impossible for one to even hear themselves think. Adding to the chaotic atmosphere, the hired guns at the docks were acting up, and although they were there to maintain the peace, were in truth more likely to start a riot than anything. A gun fight, despite the amount of security detail, seemed more than likely.

Violence, however, was a rarity on Tanra Station, as the spaceport was under the watchful eye of an entirely robotic policing force, programmed to ruthlessly hunt down and slaughter those who dared disobey the laws of the floating metropolis. In the streets, around every corner, one could expect to find a patrol of combat drones, armed with bladed limbs and electrical bludgeons, each one more than capable of subduing the common criminal with ease. On the roofs sat snipers and in the skies flew surveillance bots, with no one free from their ever vigilant sights.

All in all, though, things were fairly average, although what was to follow was anything but.

He sat in his room on the ship and awaited the docking procedure to complete. It was complete within the hour and he disembarked. The smells of engine fluid, steel, and the general stink that accompanies all human settlements almost overwhelmed Kier'Ran, but he shook his head to clear it and the feeling passed. He saw and felt plenty of eyes watch him, nothing new there, it wasn't everyday that a man with a white mane and titanium arm walked off a bounty hunting vessel.

They were told to meet at the Red Giant Cafe, and that was where he headed. It wasn't that difficult of a task to accomplish, he was able to separate the scents and was led almost unerringly to his destination. He arrived in the conference room and sat facing any entrances, basking in the more or less scent-free room. All that was left to do now was wait for his new employer and possible competition.
