"That's strange..." Jantra said, holding his arm out. "I think it's getting warmer in here. Maybe I should go check on Mr Fahrenheit. I'll be right back." With that, Jantra was gone.
If Jantra left the basement he would find himself not in the old city but in a jungle environment.
"Huh. I don't think I caused this. " Jantra said quietly to himself, looking at the new surroundings. He seemed confused, but terribly surprised. "Oh well. I guess I should see where Tyler ended up. I do hope he remembers what I said about shooting a flare..."
Jantra vanished, and the black dragon once again took to the skies. It let out a roar as it's eyes scanned the ground for Tyler.

Jantra stopped looking when he noticed the castle. He began to fly over to it in the hopes of finding Tyler, then turned back as he remembered the others back in the barber shop. Leaving Grant alone with them was a bad idea.
Even given his high vantage point, Jantra would not see anything that looked like the barbershop. Though he would see lots of activity around the island, and a few buildings that looked similar in style to the castle.
Worlds are... shifting? Changing? All my time and I've never seen anything like it. Jantra thought. Maybe things aren't so boring after all. Now to have some fun. It's been far too long since I've died.
The dragon flew as high as it could over the castle before folding in it's wings, causing the massive creature to plummet straight towards the building.

"Jesus Hong!" Maria screamed, reacting the the earth-moving kaboom of the dragon's landing. "Sweet mother of Mary Magdalene's milk of magnesia! We're all the way the Chuugoku in the city of-" Maria saw a billboard in the distance saying "Welcome to Xialong Xi" in Chinese, that Maria could totally read. "Xialong Xi!"
Cait looked around at her new surroundings. "I'd say this is weird but, today, it's pretty much par for the course." she said, before walking over to Maria. "Seeing as you seem to know Chinese, I think I'll stick with you."
The dragon tumbled off the roof, most of its bones broken and its skull caved in. It was obviously dead. Its body came to a rest in front of the building. Bits of tile came off the roof as well, but there was no visible structural damage to the building.

The billboard Maria had read suddenly burst into flames and then exploded, leaving absolutely no trace it had ever been there. In the distance some voices would be heard. They were not speaking Chinese. And they were getting closer.
A large number of Japanese soldiers crowded around the dragon corpse, wondering what the hell was happening.

"I studied in Tianjin for a couple of years and holy Naraka, get down"! Maria led Cait inside an abandoned palanquin.

It's been hours since I lost contact with the rest of my squad. As if this island couldn't get any worse, now I get to stumble around on my own with Japs behind ever rock and tree. God, I just hope they're still going to the gun nests. That's my best bet for finding any friendly faces at this point.
