Wait...Japs. Fuck, now what. But...I think I heard some English too. Might as well try my chances. What've I got to lose? I crawl through the underbrush with my Thompson ready. Just like I thought, there's a squad of Japanese moving. What the hell is making them so active? Looks like they're about to come up to that building there...Maybe a grenade'll help me get the drop on them.

OOC: So a group of about 12 Japanese soldiers are heading toward Cait and Maria. Not modern soldiers either.

The dragon began to flicker in and out of existence for several seconds before Jantra re-appeared, in his cat form again. He looked around at the soldiers before speaking in perfect Japanese "What seems to be the problem? You act as if you've never seen an immortal shapeshifter before. Now if you don't mind, I have places to be." With that, Jantra began to walk to the entrance of the building.

Feel free to kill Jantra at any time, just know that he will take over the body of whatever kills him. Example: One of the soldiers shoots him, he takes the soldiers body and adds it to his shapeshifting forms.

"Stop! Don't move!" one soldier said as Jantra was surrounded by Japanese infantry, all pointing guns at him. It would appear he was right in the middle of their base.

Jantra did not stop walking. "Heh. Do what you will, soldiers."

And so Jantra was shot a lot.

Jantra was dead before he hit the ground. Unlike when the dragon died, the body dissapeared almost immediately and a flash of orange light was seen where he stood.

One of the soldiers who had been standing closer to Jantra dropped his gun.

Grant began to wake up from being knocked out a second time, but he was still very disoriented.

"Where is the body? Look around! Spread out and look around!" the soldier in charge ordered.

"Right here." Said the soldier who had dropped his gun. He vanished, and Jantra's cat form took his place.

The soldiers started to mutter things like "oni" as they fired at Jantra again.

Jantra died again, before taking over another soldier. Jantra turned back to his cat form. He was smiling.

"Yes, kill me again. Kill this "demon" that stands before you."

The more perceptive soldiers quickly figured this was pointless and started to run. The more cowardly joined them. The officer drew a cheap katana and charged at Jantra.

Jantra drew his own shield and mace as he assumed a defensive stance. "Ooh, a duel. I've always loved those."

The officer really wouldn't be much of a challenge, as he wasn't really a trained swordsman.

Jantra easily blocked the officer's sword and swung his mace at his legs.

The officer was knocked to the ground as he clutched his legs and screamed, his leg bones crushed.

Jantra leaned over the fallen man. "So, care to tell me where we are?" Jantra asked casually.

"O-okinawa!" the man shouted.

 

[WafflesandBacon]

"Way to go, Cute Meister!" Maria exclaimed, hopping out of the palanquin. She ran over to Jantra and hugged him, "That was amazing!"

Most of the soldiers running around didn't pay much attention Maria as they were too terrified of Jantra to care.

What the hell are they running from? And how did I get this close to Shuri Castle? Might as well watch for a while.
