Steam Slug
'nuff said

but that's personally

I played a bunch of games that are considered horrible by the community, like, say, Legendary
but I still had quite some fun with that, so I don't count it

In my opinion Skyrim.

No need to explain myself because my opinion is my own and shall not change.
Just pointing out two things
1) I believe in a previous thread you actually pointed out the fact that you didn't hate the game? Very recently, in fact.
2) You also hadn't even gotten it, if my memory is correct?

As for me, probably Splinter Cell, Conviction. Repetative, all the enemies sound the exact same and have the same dialogue, either too easy or too hard, etc.
Just like to point out that you don't always have to hate a game and you can still call it bad in terms of game play or anything else with a negitive aspect.

My room mate owns the game thus i have my own account to play the game he owns.

Also like to note did someone look into my chat history to make two points for an unknown purpose =p.

Any Sonic Storybook game for the Wii.

Those were just piles of crap that did not help the Sonic franchise in the slightest. Plus, they were difficult to play because of the whole "this is not fun, it's horrible" factor that seems to emanate from these titles.

Not at all! I have no reason to stalk somebody. I remember the thread, is all. I double checked to make sure I was right. As you said, everyone has a right to their opinion, just checking if it was justified! :D

Custer's Revenge.

Nah, not really. I had more fun playing Custer's Revenge than I ever have playing Mario Kart or Smash Brothers.

Still Life II. I enjoyed the first one, but this one is seriously the most awful piece of PC garbage I've played.

Off note though, check out Limbo of the lost. I haven't bothered to play it (since it's hard, non-logical and boring) but here's a video of the ending, just to show the quality:

A game I grab out of the bargain bin so I'd have something to play when I first got my PS2.

Just checking myself to see I was wrong and yeah I do agree with yours on SC Conviction which made me stop playing the series all together.

Yeah, my brother is obsessed with it, and plays it all the time, which kills me very slowly.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the game that got me into video games.

I played other video games before Sonic 2, but it was this game that wanted me to enjoy video games in the comfort of my home. It was awesome when I completed the first two acts of Emerald Hill Zone and defeat Dr. Robotnik at the end (although he was pretty easy compared to the first boss in Sonic 1).

I bought Too Human.

Seriously, I did. I even did it AFTER seeing it on Zero Punctuation. I just thought "Hey, it can't be that bad!", but oh my god...it's shit...
I'll get heat for this, but I enjoyed it, besides the death scene... and Hel's house... and the multitude of enemies that can all kill you because you have no ranged attack worth using... enjoyed the story alot, what can I say, I'm a sucker for old legends being adapted for games, movies, books, etc.
i agree with you there i wish silicon knights actually bothered to release the sequels as planned and put the effort in to fix the game...the story was amazing and the gameplay had promise

Most of the sonic games on the gamegear. There may have been one that had good moments, but the rest were terrible. Sonic Labyrinth, the Car Racing one come to mind.

Recently: Skyrim. Dull. Granted, what I like in a game (particularly an RPG) is a strong story, interesting characters and immersive combat. Skyrim has zero of those things. It also takes itself way too seriously. At least Oblivion had actual jokes at its own expense every once in a while to ease the tension.

In the last 10 years: Box Office Bust. I was more than a little skeptical when everybody hated on Magna Cum Laude and I even enjoyed that one (albeit in a very different way from the bulk of the LSL series). But the reviewers are right on the money with Box Office Bust. It absolutely earns its metacritic of 20. So bad, so dull, so unfunny. Such a huge, depressing compromise.

The Hobbit. It felt like the cutscenes were the book and then there would be some random action stuff that didn't really tie-in.

Every day the same dream. At least with other games you have shooting. At least you had some form of combat or dialogue system and maybe the dialogue was hilarious.

Every day the same dream has you as a nameless, faceless office worker who lives in a gray and white (yes, they didn't even fit brown in there) world where all he does is go to work and you have 5 different things you can do to mix up the routine.

That might sound interesting, except that the only fun looking thing is going to work in your underwear. The other 4 are going to the left before the parking lot to meet a homeless man who takes you to a graveyard, catching a leaf, petting a cow, and committing suicide, not that you'll see or hear your guy hit the ground because that would be somewhat satisfying and this is an angsty art game so anything satisfying or fun is purposefully omitted so it can hammer home the message that life sucks.

And to end this off, would any of you ever fantasize about being a fucking miserable office worker? Would any of you dream of going to work, day after day, as a miserable accountant? Would any of you dream doing all of that in a world devoid of any colors except white and various shades of gray (seriously, they didn't even fit brown in). Yeah, it's got symbolism. So the fuck what? Everything can have symbolism in it if you put your mind to it. In fact you probably don't have to put your mind to it because people read into stuff anyways, but people still tell me I should like this game because it's unique and/or artsy. Unique doesn't mean good.

Other people tell me "Dude, it's 5 minutes, calm down". Well, that's true if you know all the clues, but if you don't you'll probably go to work 5 times and then quit and do something actually entertaining. Plus, if the one thing you can find that's good about a game is "At least it's short", then that game has a serious problem. "It's short" is not usually a good thing for a game. So why is it used as a defense here? I guess because nobody wants a longer game about being an office worker. And frankly, I don't blame them, because this game was total shit. It's not even a game. It's an interactive going to work simulation masquerading as art and as a game. But it's really just a boring slog through bland and colorless scenery followed by an ending that's supposed to be a mindfuck, but just leaves you confused about what the fuck you even played it for in the first place. It just sucks. Plain and simple.
