Cheers man. I watched 'Aliens' a few days before I signed up so gave me inspiration. Plus that scene is pretty funny so I thought it would make a good username.

I'm going to have to go with Battlefield: Earth. Why, Travolta, why?! That movie was so incredibly horrendous I took it as a comedy half way through. It just became laughable the more the movie progressed. Cave men learning to fly fighter jets? Really? That whole movie HAD to be a joke. There is no other explanation.

There are a few that come to mind... Eagle Eye, King Kong (the 2005 Peter Jackson one), the Star Wars prequels.

Of all movies I've ever seen, the absolute worst would have to be Last Action Hero.

It is so hard to say from what I have seen so far from this is a lot of people bad mouthing movies that were either intentionally supposed to be bad in a funny "look how stupid we can seem" kinda way, or actually decent movies with very good backgrounds like Carrie and The Da Vinci Code, true they were not the best movies to grace the surface of Hollywood but they do not fall under the worst movie ever category, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion I suppose. Anyways if there is one movie that is refrenced back to as god awful and the worst video game movie of all time, it would be The Super Mario Brothers Movie, not only did it disgrace a beloved game but was joined with poor writing, direction, and well acting was not so bad when you look at the characters they had to live up to.

I really didn't like Hitman, though it had a somewhat promising start.

Jumper is pretty piss poor too.

But the film that is the biggest disappointment to me is Quantum of Solace.

Monster a Go-Go, Manos: The Hands of Fate, or The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed Up Zombies.

Yes I have watched them all.

Bird-demic but that might have intentionally bad. Otherwise im not sure how people would be okay with that level of piss-poor acting and "scary" sprite animations

Epic Movie. One of movies in that line.

or Watchmen. I walked out. It was so dumb, awkward, and boring except for a few of the pissed off dude in the hat and mask scenes. That sex scene was painfully awkward.

After that, would be The Dark Knight, with it's terrible acting.
Are you trolling? The Dark Knight has a 94% approval ratng on Rotten Tomatoes and it's the film that let superhero films win something at the Oscars for acting no less. Not only was Heath Ledger excellent in it, but so was Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Michael Caine. While you may not have liked the film, you can't fault it for it's acting.

On topic: While not "worst film ever", Quantum of Solace certainly counts as "biggest dissappointment". The plot was kind of hard to follow and the villain wasn't very developed. The whole thing was pretty underwhelming when compared to Casino Royale.

I just want to put this out there: Napoleon Dynamite. I can recall the first time I saw this "movie". After the first half hour, I was wondering if I had gotten the wrong one because people said it was supposed to be funny. Never laughed once, and I thought the characters were basic to the extreme. No where did the plot really have a direction to go, or any sense to make. If this were a movie designed to be so bad it was funny, then it totally sucked at that too.
I would also like to submit these movies via blanket sweep by actor/actress: anything featuring Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes, Seth Rogan, Ben Stiller, Megan Fox, or any wrestler from WWE (especially if it is a horror movie). I'll go on record as saying they all suck. I have seen better acting in 70s pornos than most of these movies! And most romantic comedies totally blow butt as well.
The gauntlet has been thrown down.
