This really happened to me, you can ask Empyrean, she was there, it was her I was talking to.
Setup: walking through a dept. store in the mall and come across a sign that I've seen many times, advertising... something, I dunno, maybe makeup or jewelry or some shit. The model on the sign is incredibly ugly and clearly thinks she's hot. I comment to Empyrean as we walk by: "man, she's disgusting, isn't she? Every time I see that sign, I wanna throw up."
Unfortunately, there was an old woman right there who heard every word clear as day. I didn't see her because she was walking past on the other side of the sign. I see her there after I say that and quickly apologize saying I wasn't talking about her, I was talking about the sign. Still, though, what if I hadn't seen her there? That mighta just ruined her day.
