I would probably go for Rebel Runner: Operation Digital Code, or even The Hive. Both panned by critics in the mid Nineties only for me to find them 5 years later and enjoy the fuck out of them.

FFXII and FFXIII, they get so much bad press because of how different they are but even as a die hard FF fan girl I loved them both x

Alpha Protocol. Most reviewers tore it a new one for the bugs and minigames, but I've experienced less bugs in it than in most other games and the minigames, while frustrating, were still doable and had the EMP packs for an alternative. On the other hand, the dialogue system is the best I've seen in any game ever made, the story's pretty well executed (amazing by the standards of what kind of story it has) and the game's just overall buttloads of fun, being a spy RPG with plenty of stealthing opportunity that are quite rare in gaming these days, what with there not being a Hitman game for a long while and Splinter Cell largely abandoning the stealth elements.

i played dead to rights retarded and enjoyed every minute of it because my friend who was in the same room kept commenting on the awful design with a voice i would attribute to a french food critic and we pretended the game was a statement about the faults in modern video games. It was fucking hilarious
also Alpha protocol.

Deadly Premonition. The greatest game ever created.
Who the hell hates that? LieGN's overpaid twats?

...so says mr stewart.

Star wars racer revenge...don't judge me.
Yeah just IGN it seems, I couldn't help but mention it regardless, Right Zach?. Also your choice, the star wars racer. Isn't that the one with the bobble-head cast?

No, that was super bombad racer, racer revenge was vased on the only really good part of episode one, the podrace. I love it almost as much as jam, turkey, and cornflake sandwhiches!

I really enjoyed Mirrors Edge which seemed to have a lot a haters, however...

I loved Too Human, I played it so much that I have the achievements for finishing the levels without dying, take that haters!!!

I still acknowledge it's many flaws though, the worst for me being dreadful boss battles. I do hope for a sequel that continues the tale and corrects the gameplay issues.

Prince of Persia 2008... almost all SOT trilogy fans said it sucks but i loved it. The ending was awesome and sequel material...too bad that they seem to have abandoned it. Heck, it was better then the 2010 movie cash cow.

Final Fantasy XIV...
Ha, yeah right.
I enjoyed quite a few bad games in my time, ranging from Legendary (Thx for reminding me OP) and Wet, to Condemned (1&2) and Final Fantasy XIII. All of which I enjoyed just because... well mostly there was really nothing better to do at the time. But they were nice diversions.

I also enjoyed PoP '08 and after playing the DLC I regret they didn't finish the game nor is a sequel going to happen :(

Just like the topic says. What "terrible" games do you like?
Well, I have a special place in my heart for--

I'm not talking about-- controversial ones that are overall well received like-- Mirror's Edge.
I... oh.

Well, I was going to say Mirrors Edge. :( See, that game really inspired me to be more active. It empowered me. On top of enjoying it's game play, it did something more for me. I didn't just enjoy it, I loved it.

Other than that... uh, Clock Tower 2? The game was terrible in every way. But I enjoyed the opening house chapter. From there, it really kinda peters out.

Oh god how could I have forgotten to mention this!

My one complaint with it is that there are barely any human weapons (for good reason) in the later levels. That said, I got this one off of the bargain bin for under 10 bucks... awesome. Best fun I'd had since the first halo.

Also, duel wielding any and everything? Yes plz!

Haze. It's probably one of the most tongue-in-cheek parodies of current generation shooters I've had the chance to play for a long time.

That and Dark Void. Big risk of a game, but a risk well worth taking. The cover mechanics complimented the jetpack very well, and it sticks out in my mind as one of the most under-rated and one of the most exhilarating games I've had the chance to play in a long time.
