that there will be a flame war by "HARDCORE" rpg fans
who complain about that there wont be enough tedious micromanagement i am happy that if it is just about having fun killing dragons and not having to be busy an hour planning the perfect class.

I hated every elder scrolls game because of the fact you cant play as what you want and i just could not wrap my head around all that stupid skill management.

Now i will have to get my flameshield because the
"HARDCORE" rpg fans are gonna flame me till hell freezes over

Im a little worried that the graphics will be too obliviony or that the npc ai/ voice acting will be terrible

but then again I love playing oblivion so it probably wont effect me too much :p

Also I start a business training course on the 9th. So I will actually have to be sensible and not play it 24/7.

Every time I watch that I get like a 'By the nines man! Stop working the lathe while you're talking to me you'll have your hand off!' reaction.

You are right though it looks so much better than oblivion. :)

The conversations with the NPCs. I just hope it's not like in Oblivion. It was about as deep as a mud puddle and with the same ammount of captivation.

The fact that the game is 6GB and that there's 5 towns in total. Also they removed acrobatics and atheltics, super-fast Khajiit is no more.
I guess that is a little bit worrying.

Though where did you hear that it was 6GB? That's less than Modern Warfare 2.

Edit: I just looked it up and there are much more than five towns. From the count on this map, there are at least nine.

I retract my statement, I think you got a lot of false information.
Im not sure if someone has already pointed this out, but Skyrim is indeed only 6GB big.

That worried me at first too. Then I remembered vanilla New Vegas was 6Gb too, and my worries flew away.
Yep, Bethesda can pack a surprising amount of data in relatively little space. Thing is though if you are like me and enjoy modding the game, just watch that 6 GB blow up into 16 in next to no time.

There was actually an interview with Todd Howard where he was saying that they can now compress data better (than they could six years ago) and so it allows for more and better voice acting, dungeons and suchlike.

The lack of leg armor. Oblivion removed a ton of equipable items (Pauldrons, anyone? Or maybe throwing stars?), and one of the videos I saw of Skyrim lacked leg armor entirely. This worries me. I don't want to lose character customization!

Nothing.

Infact I am currently orgasming in anticipation of Skyrim. This orgasm begun at the dawn and end of time itself and has been quitely leading up to the 11/11/11 at which time I will blow the earth out of orbit with celebratory ejaculation.

Their is not a doubt in my mind and the pure euphoric glory that is my hyped up opinion of Skyrim is world curshingly naive. But I fear not.

I haven't seen anything apart from the Escapist's advertisements of Skyrim so I haven't gotten that excited yet.

Not Really a Worry but more of a Deep thought,

If there are Vampires in the game, are they Werewolves? I mean you can't have one without the other, so it only seems natural to think and wonder.
There are vampires in the game, i doubt there will be werewolves because the games finished now and if they did put warewolves in they'd say so to create some more hype.
It could come in added content, the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind introduced werewolves where there were none. Isn't that a Nord island? Maybe will get luck and get to revisit that island eh?

As you can see, you don't zoom-in on the character, your camera does center them, though. However, once they start talking, you can see that you can move away. You can also see how that person is still doing their work as you talk to them. Oh, and he blinks a few times, if that was a big deal for you.

The joy of sources!
Yup, that was the exact scene I was thinking of.

Wide-eyed, unblinking eye-lock. It looks bloody bizarre and distinctly unnatural. The fact that he continues with his work does not help. When a person is having a conversation, they do not work with their hands while maintaining constant eye-contact.

However, having watching it again, I admit that it's a definite improvement on Fallout 3's setup.

I'm going to buy it anyway as these are minor worries, but I was worried that there might be too many dragons, I like that they're random encounters but I don't want to have to fight one every time I'm traveling somewhere. Also the enemies still don't recoil or anything when you hit them with a huge ax/hammer etc.
Same thing here. The Oblivion Crisis worried me too, because I couldn't go five hundred meters on foot that *another* Oblivion Gate popped up in the vicinity. I'm worried that once you do get the main quest started, the game world's going to be teeming with dragons.

Of course, I appreciate the fairly easily obtainable Sigil Stones in Oblivion and how much they allow you to build some fairly nice gear for yourself - but the game ran the risk of becoming unbalanced, the more you let the Crisis stretch out. In one of my saves, I ended up with insane resistances to practically everything, the Water Walking ability and a set of weapons that could one-hit-kill the few low-level mobs you'd still encounter and dispatch the scaled ones in two or three hits. It kind of buzz-killed the game for me.

Bethesda telling everyone they couldnt deny or confirm at first, then blatently say they arent in it knowingly pissing of the fans... seemed suss.

What concerns me is that there's so little game that it fits onto one DVD. This does not scream "OMGOMGOMG THIS WORLD IS AS RICH AND DEEP AS MORROWIND'S" to me.

I've seen the videos. I don't know if it will be good on consoles, but on the PC it will be as i said "absolutly god-awful".

Let me make it a bit easier to understand. What did they remove? Why were those things needed in any way?
They removed some skills and removed the character classes. They also brought the fucking compass and quest arrows along the way.

The only things that concern me is that the map size is about the size of Oblivion (really twice as large would have been nice) and I hope they didn't make the game too easy. But mods can fix the easy part.
