I can get over Numel... I actually like dunsparce for some odd reason, and if I try hard, I don't flinch at lickiliki. But this? just no, thanks.
You can't honestly expect me to believe that this would actually happen, evolutionarily, let alone have an advantage in battle!
Is it too much to ask for some goddamned elbows? *insert interrobang here*

Annoyed me how you had to catch wild pokemon while they're alive. Wouldn't it be easier if they fainted? But the battle always ends :/

The fact that you're the first person I've ever heard comment on this since the time pokemon first came out kind of scares me.
We all just accept how completely rediculous it is.

That the games could be a thousand times better, proper battle animations, not just pictures of Pokemon moving slightly to the left or right, other people doing things, no more tiles, no more retarded HM moves that make no sense, no more legendarys, or if there are make them fucking hard to catch, no more pointless evolutions or de-volutions of old pokemon, make trading and fighting with other people a lot easier.

Basically stop copy/pasting the games.

Why scyther wasn't a murderous killing machine. I mean cmon a high speed duel scythe blade wielding bug and he just bruises people a little? I highly doubt it.

Being unable to open your own gym.
Now someone needs to make a game out of this!

Imagine it now!

A game kinda like Simcity where you manage your own town.
Start from premade towns, or make your own.

You become the gym leader, the unofficial mayor of the town, and you design your gym, (how many trainers you put in, decorations, puzzles ect), but in order to make your gym better, you need better trainers.

To attract better trainers, you need to invest in the town. A better town, more trainers attracted to it. But you can also train your existing trainers with the gym equipment, (but the success is limited, and you cannot change hired employees pokemon neither).

You'd also have to go out and train your team, and try to catch new pokemon of your chosen type (more type sets become available as you progress), so you could go to other gyms, and challenge them.
If you win, you attract more advance trainers to your gym, and you also get access to better funding, and attractions for your town. (You can also get more trainers set up in your gym as well)
But you'd have to close down the gym to do so, which is risky, as if you spend too long, your gym begins to deteriorate, and trainers may end up skipping you all together.

EDIT: Oh, and there would be three main ways to raise money.

- Going out to tournaments, and exploring routes to find nuggets/fight trainers.
- Investing in shops/markets (like making them have a sale, which attracts more trainers, and easrn some quick cash, but do it too often, and trainers may actually wait to go there only when sales are on!)
- Getting the money allowance from the pokemon league (which is based on town size, running costs, and prestige/ gym rank). Can be increased by spending cash to impress a representative, (but this is risky!)

Basically the same things that bother me about every anime. More specifically, how old were those kids supposed to be? They sure didn't act like 12 year olds. That squinty kid was easly 20.

Mainly just the fact that you can't search your boxes for certain pokemon or even that there's not an auto order by like number or type.

That would be the ultimate goal of the game, (as there wouldn't be much to do once you became a member of the elite 4 (but could then possibly become a celebrity sim, with PR management and that! XD)).

All those crazy rules;

1 - Who says I can only have 6 Pokemon on my person at any one time?
2 - Why do these crazy powerful beasts (especially along the lines of Mewtwo, Zapdos etc) willingly accept my slavery of them
3 - How old is the kid in the game. The mother accepts it with a simple "all boys leave home some day".
4 - Along the lines of that last one; shouldn't he be at school.
5 - why are two 10-12 year olds the most powerful trainers in the land?
6 - The game mechanics. Everytime I have them figured out I find out there is another layer and another mechanic. For a simple principle it is a very, very complex game.
7 - That very few trainers have worked out that it is better to have a range of types. Instead they insist on sticking to one type of pokemon.
8 - What if someone from a city such as Saffron city or Cinnebar Island wanted to start their Pokemon journey. The map is laid out for people from Pallet town. Maybe that is why there are no super-good trainers from other towns. The first couple of gyms they came to at the start of their pokemon career destroyed them and therefore their confidence and ability [s/]leading to deep seated psychological problems later in life like being obsessed with on cute pokemon, or needing, quite obviously, to be sectioned[/s]

anyway that will do. For now.

About the games: I didn't like that you couldn't choose which Pokemon to use, that you always had to switch during battle if you found out that another one of your Pokemon was better suited to fight your current enemy. And if you did switch the enemy got one free hit.

Brock's Leifeld's disease.

Do they eat Pokemon? I mean do they have fried Magicarp for breakfast?

Why is no one doing something about all the dangerous wild animals that have isolated these towns? The only way from one to the other is through dense dark forest or tall grass.

The fact that all Pokemon will accept slavery once they've been caught in a ball.
If I were a captured Pokemon, I'd just be waiting for the first time I was sent out to do battle to turn around and tear the little fucker who caught me a new one!
Especially Alakazam. Isn't his IQ supposed to be like 5000?
They should be the fucking master race. Humans should be their slaves, building pyramids in their honour.

..What you just said makes no sense because if he uses 1 great ball he gets room for 1 great ball, hence he can place the pokemon caught in said greatball in that spot

[sub]And I know you were joking[/sub]

Anyway, the fact that psychic pokemon can kick the ass of anything
And that some pokemon need to be traded to evolve I mean.. What?

2) No-one else except your Rival (and Wally in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, but I digress) is actually taking the Gym challenges. In fact, no-one except plot-related people actually does anything! They just stand around waiting for you to get up in their face and press A. Pokemon could learn a thing or two from Bethesda.
Am I the only other one who thinks a Bethesda-esque Pokemon game would be mind-bogglingly awesome?

*ponders creating a Pokemon mod for Oblivion, realizes he doesn't have the time :'( *

Though there is part of me that wonders if in a Bethesdemon game, just how many people would use Scythers and Alakazams to go on worldwide murderous rampages.

(Or, you know, the various god-Pokemon scattered throughout the series).

EDIT: For using an apostrophe like an idiot. :(

Lets see the games I don't have much of a problem with the games, they are pretty well thought out and actually have a lot more potential then they are currently being used for. Now the TV series I have a major problem with, and that problem can be summed into two words 'Team Rocket'. In ways they are criminal geniuses but seem to be obsessed with capturing a run of the mill electric rat, when if they just stopped following them and try their plan without being around the main characters aren't around. Either that or someone should put a damned bullet in their heads just to stop them from saying that damned introduction every time you see them.
My biggest problem with the TV show is team rocket is the only plot device available. They present a problem, Ash fixes it and makes some friends along the way. After losing to him hundreds of times why haven't they given up?
