Things in Pokemon that bothered you.

A line of games, cartoons, and associated tchotchkes marketed towards eight-to-eleven year olds and using a slogan like "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" is evil of a moderately high proof.

Everything, even crime, is decided by pokemon battles. I never got why when the team rocket members run out of pokemon to fight with, they just give up. If nothing else, they're still bigger than most of the pokemon, just beat the crap out of them! If I were a team rocket member, I would just carry around a gun for backup.

where and when the fuck does Pokemon take place (I know the regions are based on japan) but in the movies,games and shows they mention America (i.e. viking are from Minnesota and Mew fossil found in South America)

The total lack of any animals that aren't pokemon. The fact that every animal in the world will happily beat the crap out of any other animal purely because you ask it to. And also the fact that these animals will spontaneously learn new methods with which to obliterate each other, and occasionally randomly become bigger and angrier looking.

Annoyed me how you had to catch wild pokemon while they're alive. Wouldn't it be easier if they fainted? But the battle always ends :/

The fact that you're the first person I've ever heard comment on this since the time pokemon first came out kind of scares me.
We all just accept how completely rediculous it is.

Well it made sense to me since in the original Japanese version it stated that the Poke'mon died. I had a major Japanese freak friend when I was eight.

Why are the games turn-based when in the show, they can attack as many times as they want? Wouldn't a time-based battle system make more sense?

Well lets see here.

Machoke, it's been said that its skin stretches and rips because it can't contain its muscles. Now Google a picture of one and take a look at it arms.

Latios/Latias carries around Soul Dew. Soul Dew, is made from the soul of a dead Lati@s. You only get to see one of them.

Lickilicky, is a really fat Pokemon that eats everything in sight. It can learn the move muddy water, which is like th move surf, but brown. Consider how that could work, just don't do it while your eating.

Hypno, it eats children. Drifloon, it's a cute balloon thing. It tries to drag children to hell.

Golbat, it's a vampire bat, and feeds on people. It's nearly two meters tall and weighs over 120 pounds.

Parasect, when they evolve from Paras, the fungus zombifies them. Hell bug Pokemon in general. Spiders a full yard in length, hornets three feet tall and that attack in massive swarms, Man-sized praying mantises , 4 foot tall scorpions, 6 foot long dragonflies.


In short, Pokemon is disturbing as hell.

Well....I won't be sleeping any time soon.

Why have Nintendo not realised how successful a Pokemon MMORPG would be? Heart Gold/ Soul Silver sold over 2 million copies in the first month and a half in Japan alone.

Because people like to be the chosen one.
