I've attempted to make threads outside of "Your Fav" "your top 10" and the normal topics that come around every week!

Only problem is no one seems to find discussion value outside of those style topics xD

It doesn't bother me that much but wish the style of topic like above came around more often

Uhm, I dunno...

As an observation, I know many people who add hundreds of friends but never talk to them, whereas I talk to every single one of mine.

It could be they just don't know what to say to them. I, for example, am terrible at starting up a conversation. It leaves me feeling awkward, and the few times I've tried have fallen flat, leading me to believe I didn't do a good job.

OT: I wasn't aware there was a stereotype here.

I find dual analog to be the most comfy way to play every game except strategy and some others

I thought THOSE were the stereotypes. Which then means that in The Escapist there are no stereotypes, having obviously such wild differences on even what a stereotype of this place is.
That is great a relief.

I don't really believe all or any of the reviewers from this site. But i take their advice into consideration.

Really? I actually quite like the Escapist in that it has a high percentage of female posters compared to other's I've been to.

OT: I'm polite for the most part and don't have a policy of 'people I perceive as less intelligent than me must be purged.'

Wow I would tottaly be your friend just so that we could talk about random stuff (and so I could actually talk to someone on this website.. But I think.. you wouldnt really want another friend..

Is an elitist PC gamer

Well, that sentence kinda confused me, but if by your sentence you meant "give us an example of this" then I shall give you one. Some people might think I'm egotistical because I think I'm so awesome. But if I am that awesome they are wrong.

Well, he said that our stereotypes were/came from elitism and egotism. Then you said that it's not egotism if you're right.

By that I assumed that you meant that people on the Escapist are right so there's no egotism.

If that's not what you meant, sorry.
