I hate DnD/Wow. I think the wii rapes PS3 & 360, what the hell is Gamestop, I don't watch anime, I hate Metal, I love JRPG's (as well as Western RPG's), Porn is...meh, AND I'M AUSTRALIAN. SO YEAH!

I was disappointed by any Halo game after the first. But not the series in general. (True)
I played through Half Life but only seem to enjoy it for the mods. (Please dont hate me)
I build a square in survival minecraft 500 blocks wide, and reaching the top of the map tall. About 120 i believe. (Only took 12 hours -_-, watched anime while building though, it was rince and repeat after gathering resources)

Other than that I don't think I go against the Escapist stereotype. I'm atheist, male, an avid gamer, and I'm a bit elitist. Then of course I don't even fully realize what the "Escapist Stereotype" is. It has something to do with the subjects I mentioned but beyond that, I have no idea.

Apparently Escapist forum users are elitist, boring, grammar and spelling nazi's... Who play games.


Where do I differ?

I don't care if your spelling is poor. Have some consideration for others, the poster could be dyslexic or English could be his/her second language. Poor spelling does not make someones point invalid.

I'm 30, married, a father, and I don't watch cartoons. I also don't care if you don't like the same games or own the same platforms as me, just enjoy yourself.
