Guys, there is most definitely a stereotype for these forums. It amounts to "elitist PC gamer who is a fanboy of Valve and Bioware and looks down on popular games like Halo, CoD and Final Fantasy" (which I'm beginning to feel sympathy with despite never having played it).

I break from the mold in that I think Halo is an awesome game series, and Half-Life 2 was mostly just on the upper end of average. Nothing more.

I also like Homeworld. And while I haven't met anybody insane enough to dislike Homeworld, so few people play it...

lol owned! not that that person was trying to be pretentious but just kind of funny i suppose.

ot: one more thing i might add is that i do like the prequels of star wars, although honestly i find the games to be much much better than the movies in every possible way, if they could take biowares TOR trailers and turn those into the movies...i might just die from awesome implosions.

also to add to the "i am not a stereotype of", i am nowhere near being a grammar nazi and i am not a search bar thread nazi either. as long as the message gets across without more then a second or two thought, then its fine by me.

I don't care if your spelling is poor. Have some consideration for others, the poster could be dyslexic or English could be his/her second language. Poor spelling does not make someones point invalid.

I'm 30, married, a father, and I don't watch cartoons. I also don't care if you don't like the same games or own the same platforms as me, just enjoy yourself.

I do. I would think of myself as not elitist, and have a similar stance on wording as Stephen Fry might.
