It would be great to have AI that could out-think you. like in games like Civ and the Total War's. having enemies that are really smart would be sweet.
I was severely disappointed (or whatever word makes this sound less wierd) that you can't attack children in fable games. How's the morality meter supposed to accurately judge my evilness if it won't register that everytime one got in the way to ask for something i took a shot at their face?L4hlborg said:On second thought, I think I've never seen mortal children in games. Oi! Artificial Girl 3 would like a word with you. I suppose you mean something like explicit sex in an RPG or something, but tough luck seeing that anytime soon in any mainstream title.pyrosaw said:In-game sex.
That guy from no more heroes does that all the time.Geekosaurus said:You never see video game characters going for a crap.
Well, in one of the Broken Sword you can make your characters go to the toilet.Geekosaurus said:You never see video game characters going for a crap.
I could say the same about Americans...but I won'tdfphetteplace said:I've never met an Irishman that wasn't a complete stereotype.MetalDooley said:An Irish character who isn't a complete stereotype
There are three or four in Heavy Rain. YOU can't kill them directly, but the main drive in the story is a man trying to save his son from a notorious killer, so there ya go. Mortal children in games.L4hlborg said:On second thought, I think I've never seen mortal children in games. Do you actually see them die? I mean it's not that weird hearing about children's deaths and stuff. But it just seems rare that your character is there and sees a child die. The only time a remember seeing a child die was in Dragon Age: Origins, but that didn't really count as he transformed into a woman demon when you fought him.freakydan said:There are three or four in Heavy Rain. I'd say that fits my desrcription well enough. Still a bit rare though.freakydan said:L4hlborg said:Do you actually see them die? I mean it's not that weird hearing about children's deaths and stuff. At one point early in the game, a child dies, and while it doesn't show him actually dying, it shows him up until the very last second before death, and even then, it doesn't cut away from the scene, it just cuts to character reactions. Namely, the mother, who isn't taking it very well. Also, at one point, you have to comfort a child, let him know that help isn't coming, and that he's probably going to die, since he's pretty well already on his last leg.
Haha! Really? That's awesome.starwarsgeek said:It's how you save in No More HeroesGeekosaurus said:You never see video game characters going for a crap.
