Things your Folks used to say when they saw you Gaming

Mom: "Do you have to shoot them in the head?"
Me: "Yes." (Any shooter)
Mom: "Where's his head?"
Me: "Rolling on the floor somewhere." (Playing Dead Space)
My dad doesn't say anything since he plays them, too. My mom doesn't actually mind, she just doesn't always like the way I kill people.
One time, I was playing Assassin's Creed 2 and threw someone off of a building. My grandmother laughed really hard and told me to throw another one off.

Basically it swings between, Your not going to do that all day or Shouldn't you be doing some homework. I play alot of sport and go out with my friends alot so my mum doesn't really mind
If it was ever fifa games my Dad would always have a game with me when I was younger but yeah always got that old 'I'm sure you have better things to do' they were really good about it though.
I get a lot of this from my mom:
"Why is this so violent?"
"Because it's awesome."
"I swear, are you a girl or a boy?"
"My TV may say boy, but my breasts say girl >>"

"Is this Law and Order?"
"... What?" (I didn't have any idea how to respond to that.)

My parents tend to walk in when I'm playing WipEout HD on Zone Mode, which is possibly the best showcase of why I 'needed' a PS3 in the first place! And since that can be played with just two buttons and the left stick/motion sensor, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't able to join in!
Been called a friendless loser at least once(dunno it's such a long time ago, can't really remember). It was true btw, but still kinda hard I thought(made me lie to my parents a hell of a lot more though, so it did accomplish something).

Mom: " (insert name here) is on the phone, he wants to know if you'll meet him at the park!"
Me: "Done"

my gf yells at me and thinks im talking to myself when im playing online with my mic headset...and thats about it...I got my mom and dad playing the nes when i was 9 and took it over and I had to get another one....so I was always yelling at my parents to let me play...curse you dr mario and popeye
Moved out 10 years ago, moved back in, cause of the ol' economic hump and I still hear the same thing from my dad.

Usually they're quiet. My dad couldn't care, but my mom hates it when I kill all the people (usually I play a FPS).
Well, my sixty-something grandmother recently stumbled upon me playing God of War 3 during the fist cyclops battle.
I believe her exact words were: "Put his eye out, you pansy!"
The forties were a different time, to be sure.
