It's the date that /b/ has formulated for the end of the world.

It's the day that Madmechanic and myself become world leaders, which equates to the apocalypse, I suppose... Apparently, a nuclear winter is a bad thing... Weirdos..

I have seriously no idea. Maybe it has something to do that happend back in 1913?

And of course, /b/ is not a reliable source. Wiki or Google it, or go to UrbanDictionary.

It's either 4chan's big reveal, 4chan's predicted end of the world, or just a date that someone thought was cool. For all intents and purposes, it's just a date.

Something's gonna happen on the 19th month of 2013?
We write our dates day month year in the order of how large they are. We dont write month day year because it makes no sense, this is probably britain hes talking about. Do all dates in america get written like that? That seems really really weird.
Europe: Little-endian dates - smallest unit first, easy enough to remember and pretty intuitive (fits other conventions like little-endian postal addresses)
USA: Middle-endian dates - just because.
Japan: Big-endian dates - makes as much sense as little endian, with the added bonus that sorting lexically is the same as sorting by date - a lot of programs that include a datestamp in filenames therefore use this format.

I actually don't know about the rest of the world, anyone care to enlighten me about Asia, Africa, the rest of the Americas?

19/5/13 is 0.292307692. But seriously it's just 4chan doing what it always does. Internet plots and what not.

The dates are month/date/year. There is logic behind this contrary to what you think. Think of it like finding a book at the library. You find the general area first then the specific spot of the book.
Then it would make more sense to write it YYYY/MM/DD. I have no idea where the US MM/DD/YYYY thing came from.
