pretty much every game ive played, console.''

eeryone answered with "oh shi---" moment answers. i was thinking more of thel ines of "oh not this shit again".

been playign assassins creed lately and just the pure irritation of some features plus the lack of fun or story in the game beyond the inane and predictable made me wonder why i still play games.

cuz it's addictive that's why

Any game where you do some hard fight, then are told you have to do it again...timed!

Actually anything timed.

I can't believe I'm mentioning this piece of crap twice in one day, but in Megaman X7, right before Sigma theres a room with about 20 teleporters inside, now as soon as I encountered said room I got a bad feeling. I enetered one of the teleporters and saw the Flame Hyanard arena and my feelings were confirmed:
I was going to have to fight ALL OF THE BOSSES AGAIN.
And to make it worse, you were playing X7!

Mercs 1 came over a hill with a fully loaded attack heli only to find that I'd mistakenly found myself in the main AA gun factory in North Korea (or at least it felt that way)

I'm not gonna say exactly what happened by the result explosion actually glitch-blew me off the map. Literally.

edit: also the 1000 heartless battle you gotta do by yourself in KH2. I was about to crap my pants until I figured out that I could kill the heartless at 15 a swing. Then it turned out to be grief-fest!

Right before the last part of Batman: Arkham Asylum I made the mistake of not using my Bat-Vision to peek inside of hallway leading to the entrance. Turns out it had 30 thugs who butchered me in moments because I went in with very little health and they one-shot me. All I could do at that point was go exploring for Riddler statues for some exp and a health regen before trying again.

Any time when there's a hint that there will be a vehicle section next. I really... really hate most vehicle sections and when a great action game tries to shove a bunch in for no reason it sort of upsets me...

It feels strangely satisfying when you know that Charon is a dumbass in more than one person's game. He did the exact same thing when I played through... and i didn't have the Fat Man on me at the time...

Pretty much any moment from L4D. My two friends and I fought a horde of zombies to get on an elevator. All of our ammo was used on the horde and we quickly entered the elevator. A bot, a friend, and myself were on board as a witch just walked up to the elevator's entrance. My other friend was downstairs.
*caruso* I guess he was Left for dead.

In any game: walking down a long hallway full of health kits and ammo. You ain't gonna like what's behind the next door.
Ho yeah. That's a sure sign of a "This is going to suck" moment. Unless you just came from one, then it's post boss recovery.

Any quest in oblivion, morrowind, or fallout that involves going into water... *shudders* it's always so dark and before you know it you have a dozen slaughter fish up your ass or one huge mierlurk nibbling at your face, depending on the game.

wouldn't bother me the slightest if i didn't have all those traumatizing childhood experiences in morrowind.

I had known it was going to have the 1k heartless battle long before the game came out and I had so much hopes cause the picture advertising it had behemoths and varied other baddies, so when it became obvious the battle was coming up was all jittery with excitement.

Then started the battle and after finding out it was pretty much impossible to die and/or lose the battle, wasn't happy.

OT: Remember playing Halo 3 a year ago or so, and was a room of heavy weapons so everyone has a spartan laser, I exit the bunker and a few seconds later I see 4 laser beams charging up intersecting me from different directions. Had about a second to try and force Master Queef to kiss his own ass goodbye

Remember the dead twins in Silent Hill 4: The Room? The ones who cojoined and cloned into about 500 angry gorilla-like monstrosities? That are HARD to kill?

Got that? Now remember when you turned the corner and saw about 25 of them?

I'm am STUNNED that Eileen survived that with more health than me.

Running out of ammo for my Chinese Assault Rifle in one room, then opening the door to the next room... to be greeted by 3 Super Mutant Masters.

Hit tab, check how many stimpaks I have, and sigh. "This is gonna suck."

fallout 3, mothership zeta, I am level 27, and through a farce my last save was at level 25, with only 1 adapted biogel and an area full of abominations to clear.

EDIT: also when you are walking down a dark, water-filled hallway at level 10 and turn around to see a mirelurk king and or deathclaw
