I thought the TC said "not broken"... ohh well.

I will say God Hand. Even on the easier difficulty setting, that game will eat you alive.
well, that game wasnt broken, by any means =P

of course, I only have experience with the Genesis version

I found it to be very balanced, and by balanced I mean, the game assumes you're fucking god, but it never pulls any dick move on you, at least not one you dont see coming

Modern Warfare 2's Favela level on hardest... Aaagh the favela level...
Ever played Modern Warfare 1? The favela is where people go to relax after One Shot, One Kill, Heat and No Fighting in the War Room.
As I've told people before (in a post on the very same page as yours..), CoD4 was the easiest CoD game I've ever played, War Room no exception. The Favela mission seems to treat people very differently, and for me it was the most annoying, impossible and hate-filled mission in any FPS ever.

Mystery dungeon :shiren the wanderer

and

Left 4 dead single player (3 AI) on expert... I swear if you make it to the end of a campaign, the Ai will probably just shoot you anyway

The first time for me was Kingdom Hearts because when you fight Riku being possessed by Ansem close to the end, he is SO overpowered. I know many who have had trouble with him. I gave up and wouldn't play the game for a year because of how annoying it was.

CoD4:1 The post credits level on the hardest difficulty, Ive never completed it, after days of trying. Best I can manage (and Ive got to this lots) is 1-2 seconds to late.

Seriously, if you stop moving forward AT ANY POINT you run out of time, this INCLUDES stopping to reload, if you run out of bullets you either melee while moving forward or pick up a new gun, but at the same time the difficulty is such that taking more than 1 or 2 bullets without hiding behind a wall for a bit is death.

Other than that, Ninja Gaiden.

Team Fortress 2.

Huntspam luckshots? Check.
FaN scoots being teleported behind me? Check.
Black Box soldiers getting magical airshots? Check.
Living aimbots as Snipers? Check.
Natascha heavies and Degreaser proros around every corner? Check and check.

And yet I have pured 500+ hours into that game. Loving every single second.

Metroid Prime 2 was pretty tough at parts. Mostly because the air killed you. Yes. That was annoying.

Also hilariously difficult from that game? The Spider Ball Guardian. The Spider Ball Guardian.
Yes, this. I loved the game so much that I didn't mind, but some parts were brutally difficult. Most people say that the Boost Guardian is the hardest, but I have to agree with Spider Guardian. That thing gave me nightmares...*shudders*

Also, Omega Pirate/the final boss from Prime 1 and Mogenar/Dark Samus from Prime 3. Hypermode difficulty can go fuck itself.
Ah, Dark Samus on Hypermode. Yeah, that was the only boss battle in the Prime series that was more annoying than the Spider Ball Guardian.

The Spider Guardian was tough because it took incredible timing and precision to take down - the fight was ridiculous, but not unfair. With Dark Samus in MP3 (again, only on Hypermode), on the other hand, I felt like some of her attacks were physically impossible to dodge. Still, that was an epic fight, and an appropriately brutal way to end the overall fairly difficult Prime series.

MoH Frontline on Hard. No regen in between checkpoints and if you die, you have to start the whole level over again...and the checkpoints are spread out pretty far apart. Might just be me being used to today's shooters and all. Good game but pretty dam difficult.
