I'm sorry, but the Mantyhose is where a line is crossed. Women wear it because their legs are curvy and smooth. Even from a fashion perspective, it doesn't make any sense for men to use them.

That's a woman, and can never again be a man ever again. Ever....fucking...again.
As someone using a Saxton Hale avatar, I feel I have the right to OFFICIALLY REVOKE this obviously female thing's MAN CARD!

Henceforth they shall no longer be able to take part in acts of manliness! Such as causing wanton destruction and the sexing up of many women at once!

OT: I'm all for more options for men's clothing, cargo shorts/jeans/slacks gets a bit tired, but this...this is not the solution.

Screw the Rohirrim. We need the Cadians on this shit. NOW.

OT: Regarding sandals: men have worn sandals since time immemorial. I do find the the feminization of men's fashions to be regrettable, as I find the feminization of men in general to be objectable, at least to the degree that it seems to have been taken. I wouldn't care about the man-skirt thing if it at all resembled the classic Roman or Greek toga, but it doesn't. It more closely resembles the clubbing outfit of some vile std ridden skank.

Except less tasteful.

The same goes for anything that incorporates pantyhose. Perhaps men's and women's clothing developed along the consistent lines it did because the differing shapes between males and females called for a different approach to clothing them. Of course modernity being the contrarian mess that it is those in the fasion industry seem to have forgotten that. Either that or they ran out of ideas and said "fuck it, 'trendy' consumers will buy and wear anything I crank out anyway, I might as well see how far I can take it.

Also, the fuck with napsacks becoming man-bags. I don't carry my books every day in a man-bags, it's a backpack. Infantrymen don't wear man-bags into battle. If the Canadian, US or any European army took to incorporating the 'man-bag' into the BDU the morale of whoever their enemy at the time is would skyrocket.

The only time I want a man in pantyhose is if it's war and the enemy is using chemical warfare. (British soldiers wore them during WW1.) As for the guy in the picture, I think he stole my clothes and then ripped it.
That man is definitely not at war... and he's french so if he was, he would have surrendered by now.

I agree to pretty much everything you said, but if ANYTHING has to stop, it's this. Improper usage of "Your / you're", "its / it's" and "There / their / they're".
Sorry to use you as an example, but this is so annoying to me.
My bad. I missed that one. I'm aware of the propper usage of your/you're.

I'm not really against men wearing girl clothes. If women can wear clothes that were once for men only, then men should be able to do the same with women's clothes. yeah it looks really weird, but it's something i think people should get used to.

But the names for them. Those are a different story. I think the person who thought of the names should be taken in for reprogramming.

This has to stop.

And not just with the "mirts," or "mankini," and the dreaded "man-bag" but the retarted combination of words. Like "staycation." Its not a stay at home vacation. It means your fuckin broke. That garbage is worse than everything having to be "PC" (politically correct for those of you who might not know)

Ill give you a run down of the worst for those that dont feel like rotting their brain by clicking on the link.

And feel free to post your own most hated word combinations.

Mandals = Man sandals
Murse = Man purse
Mewlery = Man jewlery
Meggings = Man leggins
Marfists = Man scarfs
Mantyhose = Man pantyhose
Manties = Man panties
Mirts = Man skirts
Meels = Man heels
I saw that this morning too. The mental therapy is going to cost me a fortune. I will add to the old adage "You wouldnt catch me dead wearing that.." with "Even my corpse would kick your butt for trying to put it on me.."

The part that really fries my brain cells is that there REALLY are men out there.... SOMEWHERE.... that think this crap looks good!!!

Nifty, but why do they have to anviliciously masculinize them? What is wrong with just 'sandal,' 'bikini,' and 'skirt?' Those seem like perfectly gender-neutral terms.

"Meggings" is now on my top ten list of the cutest words ever.
Yeah, this is about all I have to say. I hate portmanteau words but you can't deny how cute "Meggings" sounds. It's like a kitting or something.

So what about a Manatee? Here i thought it was an animal. lol

Its weird to say but from reading this thread it would be more manly to just wear a womans skirt or heels than the male equivelent.

Getting a real "Freedom Fries" feeling from those names, except instead of being ashamed of my nationality I'm ashamed of my sex. Lovely.
