whatever you do, don't mention, talk about, or perform the ancient art of GargleFunkle. A buddy of mine did that to a kitten...

Lasted 34 seconds and then he was some mush on the ground. o_O

As I see it you have two options:
1) Ask it politely to leave.
2) Grab a burlap bag, a brick and find a river.

If you feed a cat at 3 pm, it will be back at 3 pm the next day. Or, it could hang out continuously waiting to see if you do it again. Or, it could just sense you are a very nice person, and it has adopted YOU.

One day 5-6 years ago when i came home there was a cat outside our house, who followed us in. We gave him half a meatball, which resultet in him camping out front door for a week. Obviously i fed him when i got home from school, nothing big just a little ham or something, ut he stuck around. In the end we decided to keep him seeing as he wasn't leaving, we set up posters asking people if they knew this cat, but noone came.
It was awesome, and he's asleep on the couch atm

Oh my Jesus. It's happening again. It's always another town, another guy, another ruthless cat. I've seen it too many times. First they're all meows and purrs, the next moment they are stabbing you in teh back. I've only one word of advice, kill it, kill it with fire.

You don't pick a cat, a cat picks you. That's how I got my cat. His mother showed up at a nursery pregnant, decided we suited her needs. I took one of her kittens home- even though I had never owned a cat- and bonded. I had him for 17 years before I had to put him to sleep when I found him lethargic and barely breathing one morning.

He was loyal, friendly, and could handle those week long vacations. I just had to understand that it was 'all about him' when I got back.

Nothing wrong with feeding the stray cat so long as you don't mind the commitment.

Take it in. Cats are the shit, man. You barely even need to take care of them. Just feed them when they're hungry and they'll chill and be your buddy.
Thats what I thought about my cat, then the ungrateful bastard ripped my favorite poster in half. Right after I fed it, played with it and petted it. ;0

If I were you, I'd adopt it until he gets tired of you, then let him do this to someone else. The cat obviously has a pattern here. Go beg, get food ,get adopted, get bored, run away, repeat.

A stray moved in under my mom's deck last winter. Originally it was really skittish, probably had rocks thrown at it or something. Anyway, I ended up naming her Yuki since my mom couldn't come up with anything good and we love our kitty now. Gray Tabby.

You should give it leftover scraps or start buying cat food for it.

Did you feed it?

Cats are sluts. They'll snuggle up to whomever they think will take care of them. Spray it with water a couple times and it will be gone.

Taking in the cat.
Good, because if was the light bulbs thing then I'd have to hunt you down.
Pffffhahahaha.
And do what? Bake him some cookies?
Face it, you're about as terrifying as an adorable kitten.
I could be evil...
put crushed light bulbs into the cookies...
Uh-huh. Sorry, you're innocent until proven guilty, kiddo.

If cute, keep it. If ugly, let it starve.
Don't you dare say that. Just because a cat is ugly doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be loved.
I must not read that I must not read that I must not read that I must not read that...

I must not see.
Sadness is the mind-killer.
Sadness is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will avoid my sadness.
I will permit it to pass over me and around me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the sadness has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
How am I supposed to conquer the world by being good?

how could a kitten be ugly anyway? They're all so cute.

There was this weird girl that lived down the street from me. She was 13 and smoked and drinked. She beat her cats and they always came over to see my sister and I. We'd feed them and pet them. Than one day they died and she blamed my sister for it. That b****.
Drank. >_> Sorry, grammar nerd.

You know, that was actually a little touching...

Sad part? If I had read this about a person, I would have said "huh" and moved on...I like animals more than people, it would seem.

EDIT: On topic time. Take the cat in.
