The new Devil May Cry.
Honestly, this new one is what got me into the franchise, so I've played all the DMC games and while the new one isn't as good as the old ones (minus DMC 2), I don't think it's all that bad. The combat's a little shallow but that meant it was easier for a newcomer like me to step in. It's gorgeous to look at, the soundtrack is awesome, I'm not a big enough a DMC fan to care about his redesign (the old one was better but I'm really not *that* burnt), and the while the dialogue's not perfect, it's not that bad and even if it was, it's not enough for me to completely write off a game (I'm a fan of Life Is Strange, that that as you will)
I have never not like a main Assassin's Creed game. Well, except one.
The only one I really didn't like was Unity for the reasons you'd expect but otherwise, like every one. 1 was repetitive but I liked the Final Words cutscenes the most, Revelations was weak but bought back Altair so it's okay in my book, and while Connor needs to take a serious chill pill sometimes in 3, that's really my only complaint.
And I don't care what anybody says, I'm loving Syndicate. IT's got AC1 blood in it with the Final Words cutscenes, I love that.
