I'm curious as to what your guys thoughts on controversial subjects are. What do you think of 4chan, and by extension, Anonymous?

What are your thoughts on Cannabis Control or other drug abuse issues?

What are your thoughts on Third Wave Feminism?

Just curious.

How is 4chan controversial? Anonymous are just skiddies with good PR.

I think possession of artificial child porn should be legal, but centralised & regulated, and lots of professional help available.

If I were David Cameron and his money grabbing band of highwaymen, I'd legalise cannabis and tax it. The tax would go straight into my swiss bank account El Presidente style. Or it could be used to fund hospitals and schools and whatnot. Loads of people smoke weed they'd make a fortune.

Couldn't care less about 4chan.

Legalize drugs, tax them, disincentivize use of the hard ones, keep good control on the quality and purity of the drugs, and set up a good support system for addicts.
i.e. Treat all drugs more like alcohol (Or rather: the way we treat alcohol here in Norway. I wouldn't want people selling coke at gas stations).
Heavy drugs like heroin should only be available through highly professional, government controlled, outlets.

I have no idea what third wave feminism is.

4chan, fun place to waste some time/find some eye candy. Anon? They're a nebulous group of people, and cannot be defined under one banner. I agree with some things they do, but of course I can't distinguish what they do and what people do claiming to be them.

People can pump their bodies with whatever they want, I don't care. So long as they know the risks before hand.

Eh, I dislike feminism, but only because the ones that claim it are the ones that abuse it.

"I WANT EQUAL PAY, BUT REFUSE TO DO MANUAL LABOUR, YOU'RE BEING SEXIST" etc.

The term seems arbitrary, I prefer just general equal rights for everyone, same expectancies for everyone, don't pull your weight? Don't get paid as much, not matter the gender.

How would you solve that? That's confusing to me.
Was trying to think of it myself. Do you think it is the right of a man to demand the lady get an abortion? Just wondering.

Ever been on /b/?
Yeah, it's a craphole that rarely does anything new. They do some controversial things, but that doesn't make 4chan as a whole controversial.

They fight for a morality debate while men are legally oppressed by the very same rights they enjoy today. Simplest solution, child support should not be law, it should be a moral decision made by men.
As far as I know, it pretty much is*.
My dad never paid child support, neither did my boyfriend's dad. Neither of them have suffered the slightest inconveniance from not paying. I heard at one point the CSA may have gone after my dad, but nothing came from it. Those are just my personal experiences though.

Also, making it a moral decision on the part of men opens up many oppurtunities for people to say `Well I never wanted the kid so I don't have to pay` when a relationship breaks up.

*By this I mean, its not hard to get away with not paying.

I support the death penalty
I support Euthanasia
I support homosexual marriages
I support different race relations

I do not support pot legalization
I do not support IVF treatment (For over population and social issues. Not the crazy god thing)
I do not support anything to do with a theocracy
I do not support multiculturalism. (Do not confuse that with racism, I'm fine with different races interacting, living together, working together, whatever. I am against different cultures mixing, because that's a fucking travesty.)

4Chan I have no problem with, in fact I quite enjoy the site for it's role in helping to popularize the more bizarre aspects of the internet. However, I am very anti-anonymous, they are a criminal organization and hide behind facades of righteousness and justice to disguise their self-serving misdeeds.

I'm a big supporter of a legalized and government regulated marijuana trade. I don't think it will save the economy all by itself, but when you consider how much money is wasted fighting the marijuana trade and how much money could be made off of regulating it, I'm amazed it hasn't been done yet. Every bit helps, no single change will save the economy, baby steps are important.

As for justification in legalizing the substance, I think the fact that after roughly an entire century of investigation, we have yet to confirm any negative long term effects associated with it, this speaks for itself. The only adverse effect that is notable is lung cancer which is a risk nullified by use of a vaporizer.

I don't honestly have an issue with modern feminism so long as it's kept under control. Sadly it's not really being kept under control. I think a lot of modern female rights issues are being pushed into grey areas that possibly infringe on the rights of men instead.

Aren't women who get abortions called harlots and whores and murderers by the right wing wackos that tend to congregate around those places?

4chan is a website I love. I know it can be an ugly place, but it's been a part of my internet use ever since I have had home internet. /b/ is a terrible and embarrassing place, but it's essentially where everyone goes before they mature and move on to the other boards. It's kind of a rite of passage in ways, most users look back on their /b/ days in shame, as they think of what meme spouting idiots they were, and strive to move on from it.

Anonymous is barely related to 4chan anymore, and they're a silly group that barely has any influence on the internet these days.

Marijuana should be legalized, simply. I don't use it, but it's completely harmless. There are political and economical reasons for it being illegal, but in the big picture, it's just a recreational drug that does no harm, and therefore shouldn't be restricted.

Other drug abuse issues I am not knowledgeable or interested enough to have an opinion on. I don't really have any ideas on how to prevent or control drug abuse, or even if drugs should be controlled.

Third wave feminism I don't spend enough time thinking about to form a solid opinion on, but some thoughts include: I think it's completely scattered, each person has a different opinion on different issues, and while many third wave feminists agree with each other on some issues, I think everyone disagrees on other issues. I wouldn't want to label myself with a group that has different ideals than me, but we agree on one issue, and I think that's the case here, many people are just joining together but with no common cause or issue to work on.
The other issue I have, and keep in mind this isn't a fully formed thought, and can probably be easily opposed, is that I think it's hard to take someone seriously who claims to be all about equality, and yet labels themselves and their goals based on their gender.

Anyway, thanks for asking, everyone loves to share their opinion about things, even if no one wants to listen.
How about you OP, how do you feel about these issues?

4chan is a cool place most of the time, /b/ is a worthless timesink that nobody should actually care about as long as it doesn't spread.

I like Anonymous because they are pretty cool guys. Tehy fight gubment and don't afraid of anything.

I am against the War on Drugs, specially when it comes to cannabis. I don't think I would want it legalized either, I just think that making it illegal and not enforcing the law would drive prices down and remove control from drug cartels.
