4chan is a website I love. I know it can be an ugly place, but it's been a part of my internet use ever since I have had home internet. /b/ is a terrible and embarrassing place, but it's essentially where everyone goes before they mature and move on to the other boards. It's kind of a rite of passage in ways, most users look back on their /b/ days in shame, as they think of what meme spouting idiots they were, and strive to move on from it.
Anonymous is barely related to 4chan anymore, and they're a silly group that barely has any influence on the internet these days.
Marijuana should be legalized, simply. I don't use it, but it's completely harmless. There are political and economical reasons for it being illegal, but in the big picture, it's just a recreational drug that does no harm, and therefore shouldn't be restricted.
Other drug abuse issues I am not knowledgeable or interested enough to have an opinion on. I don't really have any ideas on how to prevent or control drug abuse, or even if drugs should be controlled.
Third wave feminism I don't spend enough time thinking about to form a solid opinion on, but some thoughts include: I think it's completely scattered, each person has a different opinion on different issues, and while many third wave feminists agree with each other on some issues, I think everyone disagrees on other issues. I wouldn't want to label myself with a group that has different ideals than me, but we agree on one issue, and I think that's the case here, many people are just joining together but with no common cause or issue to work on.
The other issue I have, and keep in mind this isn't a fully formed thought, and can probably be easily opposed, is that I think it's hard to take someone seriously who claims to be all about equality, and yet labels themselves and their goals based on their gender.
Anyway, thanks for asking, everyone loves to share their opinion about things, even if no one wants to listen.
How about you OP, how do you feel about these issues?
