Well, these threads almost always devolve into "[Popular Game I don't like] sucks" posts, so... there's that.SUPA FRANKY said:Nothing. If I don't like it, I don't have to play it. If they make more of a game I supposedly "hate", then obviously there are people out their who do enjoy them. How immature would I be to stop games from existing just because I don't like them?
OT: I refuse the premise of OP's post. And not only because they came out of the gate saying they wanted to kill two of my favorite franchises, with a third as a runner-up.
Instead, I will say six franchises I'd like to bring back.
Star Wars Jedi Knight
Star Wars: Republic Commando
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Star Wars Racer - Lucasarts, why did you have to go completely bananas?
Banjo-Kazooie - Microsoft, why did you have to ruin Rare? (And I will stare very disapprovingly at the next person who brings up Viva Pinata, not least of all because even that has been left out to dry in the past few years.)
Warcraft - I really enjoyed my time with World of Warcraft. I still have a fondness for the World of Warcraft style of doing things, even though I've been burnt out on the competitive aspects of PvP and PvE raiding. But even as somebody who has very little experience with RTS games, Warcraft II and III have still been a blast for me to play, and I'd really like to see that again. Or even just a normal RPG using the WoW... er... world.
