"Say, I wanna be the best Rocket that I can be, but I don't know how to do that. You've been in for a while right big sis? Could you give me any tips?"
Leela felt a strange warmth at the kid's words, unsure of how to take them. Her family didn't want to talk to her unless she quit the Rockets, and she didn't want to have anything to do with the life of a rich girl sitting on a bed of roses with servants scuttling around like a bunch of Krabbys catering to her every whim.
"Kid, I've only been in for a few weeks, so I can't tell you more than how I think it needs to go. Don't get stupid, don't go after lone drunks on the road, they probably don't have enough money to warrant the robbery, especially when you're on the run. The Rockets are a business, it's right in our motto, 'exploit Pokemon for profit, all Pokemon exist for the glory of Team Rocket.' Don't ever forget that kid, don't take unnecessary risks, know your marks, that's where we screwed up in Celedon. And remember above all, take care of your Pokemon, and they will take care of you. What I do may be considered unorthodox by the rest of these grunts around here, but it works for me."
She spoke in a hushed voice, making sure that no one else overheard her conversation with Mayu. Not that she was worried about the rest of the grunts hearing her opinions, but where there was one drunk man, there was another dozen right around the corner listening.
"We are employees now, not particularly high on the food chain, but we're the backbone of the organization, and with a bit of luck and knowing when to strike, you can go far. My father's employ-*cough* I know of people who've gone from factory floor workers to vice-president's of some of the largest corporations in the world. And remember one more thing, if things go the way I plan, Team Rocket will soon be the greatest organization and most profitable business in the world. No more grunts straight off the street, but proper professionals with experience, beating up kids in back alleys and bursting en masse into buildings with no knowledge of the layout or the security will be a thing of the past,"She lowered her voice even lower, to where it was barely a whisper, even as close as the two were,"And dog-faced morons with a case of beat-happy, will no longer be a part of the business, they're too expensive, and eventually they'll be the ones that take the fall for the big fuck-ups. So keep your head down, and don't be a hero."
